Excellent All Inclusive
Beautiful place. Staff was very friendly, rooms were very well kept. One side of the hotel is louder due to the themed parties from the Riu resort located behind the Riu Palace but one side was very quiet so they can accommodate your preference. The food was great and there are plenty of options for picky eaters.

Save your money; don’t come here
If you’re looking to see kids running around, be in bed by 12AM, with no bar open and room service that may not arrive, overpriced rooms and trash food, here’s your place! My experience here from start to finish was awful. Upon check in I find the triple swim up doesn’t hav sleeping room for three people. The front desk had horrible attitudes and were unhelpful so I just bought an additional room. The food here is do freaking terrible. I’ve done many all inclusive but this was the worst. Bread is always hard, everything is so dirty despite having so much staff. The swim ups are TINY tiny. You cannot fit more than two people comfortably in there. Javier at the pool bar was the best and friendliest things about the resort besides the housekeeping. You have to go to another resort to go to parties, and to have a drink past 12am. The night desk is more rude than the day. There are kids EVERYWHERE. Did I mention the food is terrible? Like even the restaurants. Ugh just don’t waste your money.

Fantastic Family Getaway – Great Food, Fun Pools & Beautiful Beach!
We just returned from a stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and had a wonderful family vacation. This resort is definitely family-friendly—our kids had a blast from start to finish! They especially loved the pools, which were clean and lively, and they had the best time chasing waves at the beach. The buffet was also a huge hit with them—so many choices and something for everyone (plus they loved going up to pick their own food!). There is a water park on-site, but just a heads-up for other families: it’s a bit strict with rules (age/height limits), so it wasn’t as fun or accessible as we hoped. Still, the kids found plenty of other ways to stay entertained. La Coyota was a great spot for a nice meal, and Manny from WestJet was amazing in helping us book excursions—super helpful and friendly. One tip for fellow Canadians: watch out for currency conversions. Prices are often listed in pesos but charged in USD, so just double-check to avoid surprises. Overall, it was a great family vacation spot, and we’d definitely come back

This was a beautiful resort
We had an ocean view room that looked out over 2 pools and the ocean. The rooms are very nice. Not enough outlets in my opinion. The mattress was a little hard. Love that they have an in room iron and ironing board. The food was very good at all of the restaurants and the buffet. Highly recommend!!

Excellent stay
We had our wedding at Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and it was AMAZING! Our wedding coordinator, Susana, took care of every detail and made planning so easy. Raul in restaurant services took such good care of us for all our meals and was also serving at our wedding as well. He was awesome! The food in the restaurants is what you'd expect from a large all-inclusive resort, but the location is close to many other dining options as well. There are many options for pool lounging, from the party pool to the quieter relaxation pool or you can walk next door to the Santa Fe and check our their pool slides. Your drink will never be empty when you're at the pool and you can grab bbq right there as well. Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay. We were more than taken care of and treated so well by every member of the staff from check-in to check-out. Would definitely recommend Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas.
