Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. - One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required
 per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. - In the event that any guest(s) engaging in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s)

STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Beautiful place with beautiful people. Montego Bay, Jamaica

    Wonderful staff, very well maintained and clean everywhere. My room attendant Rose Marie was excellent and had a sweet personality too. The pool bar staff were all excellent. Our cocktail waitress, I think her name was Trishtan(sorry if I spelled it wrong) always greeted us with a big smile. Lloyd at the lobby bar was friendly and good humor too. The spa was nice, but a bit pricey. The pool in the spa was extremely relaxing. The only disappointment was in the Galleon, Toscana, and lunch buffet, food was not being served hot. Our last meal at the French restaurant was the only hot meal we were served other than room service. Room service got warmer food to us. We went on the sales pitch. It was exhausting. It could have value if you have a big family, or if you like to spend a lot of your time in Jamaica and Mexico. If you like a property and go back year after year( which a lot of people do) it makes some sense. My advice, don’t sign up for first price pitched. They can peel back the onion more and get to a price that works for you! The adult only side was heavenly for us. I would return to this property.

    Best Anniversary Trip!

    My husband and I came to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we were not disappointed! The resort was beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and kind. The highlight of our trip was the lovely concierge Rogina who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip went smoothly. We are definitely looking forward to coming back with our family later this year!

    Incredible moment

    This is my third time visiting the Iberostar hotel and I just want to say your staff was incredible 👌. Also, me and my spouse found our self in a little difficulty and Miss Suelyn Martin went above and beyond. Therefore I want to use this medium to big up Miss Martin. Appreciate it so much.

    Awesome vacation April 2025

    My wife and I just returned from a week at Joia Rose hall. We had last been there in 2011. We arrived at about 3pm and our room was ready. We received a quick hassle free check in with a wonderful lady name Verona. She was so sweet and wonderful, she upgraded our room since we were celebrating a birthday. We ate all the ala carte restaurants, we loved them all. At the Jamaican restaurant we had a super nice waitress named Jase. She had the biggest smile and the most wonderful personality, she made our dinning experience special. Nightly entertainment was at such a high standard. The singer they had at the pool one night was amazing. All the evening entertainment at the lobby was always top notch. Bar tenders were great as well, we really had a great time with Cassandra at the pool bar. She made the best Mojitos !!! The Star Cafe coffee shop was a nice surprise. We had caramel Cappuccinos with Jamaican run cream there every evening before dinner. Our room was cleaned very well every day and the bar restocked every day. We only have 1 small suggestion, the hallways that lead to the rooms need a lot of improvement. It seemed to us like they didn't have enough airflow and it resulted in a slight musty odor. The carpet in the hallways seemed stained and needs to be changed out. But that was the only negative from our entire vacation. We highly recommend this hotel.

    A wonderful stay

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff are very accommodating and made our first family trip to Jamaica special. We have to give a special shout out to Jada whose friendly manner, professionalism and joy was a delight. We’re also really grateful for our butlers - Alain, Andre and especially Christopher, who made sure that we had everything we needed during our time here. The food, facilities, room, and activities were great! Also the spa and all the therapists enabled us to take our relaxation up a level!
