Bad Experience
Service was not good, room was not up to standards, housekeeping needs were not met- lacking in a lot of areas. Check-in was not good- our room was not ready when we arrived!

Family of 4 vacation
We stayed for 9 nights in the month of February. Everything was 10/10. We would definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Grand Palladium Riviera Maya
La Dalia: Reginald’s looked after us. He was courteous, friendly and efficient Helios: Kimberly greets us with a smile. She remembers that we want to be seated in Martha’s area in the restaurant. Martha remembered my hubby’s breakfast order from last year. She, also, remembered that I enjoy coffee with ‘special milk.’ Our travel club cart chauffeurs are wonder. Leonardo tells us to call him and he’ll come. If he isn’t here, one of his friends wills pick us up from wherever we are. Victor, and Hugo have cheerfully driven us to different destinations. All the cart chauffeurs are the areas we spend the most time in. La Boheme: Ask for Caesar. He’s an amazing waiter. He has introduced us to the chef at different times we’ve been here. TRS: Jonathon, the manager of the hotel….another caring person. He has made us feel special. Thank you. Zentropia: I really don’t want to mention her name because everyone will want this massage therapist. Roses is absolutely amazing. She works the knots out. She has a lovely smile. Travel club: we were greeting with hugs from Elisa, hand shakes from Joao and a hug and kiss on the cheek from Armando, who we call the big boss. Thanks for remembering us…or at least letting us think you remembered us. We have not forgotten all of you

Should not be considered a 4 star resort
Not the place for black people or other minorities, you will be treated different from white residents when it comes to bar service, shuttles around the property, etc. Basic necessities in the room were not working and we were met with a nonchalant attitude when trying to get assistance from the front desk staff. This was my second time at a Palladium resort, my first was in DR and that was very nice. I will not be staying at the Palladium resort in Playa Del Carmen again.

Good last minute stay
Booked the week before we traveled. Got a nice room and an upgrade. Would recommend La Havienda for breakfast over the other buffets (don’t be scared of a possible small queue outside). Always beds free around the main pools - not so much around the TRS pools if you have access… All areas (lobbies, restrooms, public areas, restaurants) seem to be clean and well maintained. Secret pool is great for a quiet drink in the evening! Great mixture of wildlife on the grounds of the resort.
