A friendly, welcoming environment
The staff at X'tan Ha Resort is so friendly and responsive. Whatever we needed during our stay, the answer was always "yes". The pool areas and beach were constantly being maintained to ensure we had a great experience. Alex, our "tiki bar" bartender was amazing, fun, and never forgot our drink preferences. The breakfasts and lunches in the restaurant were fresh and delicious! We felt so relaxed the entire time.

I would stay here again
Positives: The room was big and very comfortable. There was a nice bar/restaurant on the property. The views from the rooms were just like the pictures. The people who worked there could not have been nicer. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Negatives: The roads are very rough (dirt with potholes) and it makes it a very long 7.2 miles from town, especially in a golf cart after dark. The rooms were a little dated. Would I stay there again, absolutely!

X'tan Ha a great experience in Belize
X'tan Ha Resort was a first class experience. The staff was amazing and the grounds were impeccable. We stayed in a Seaside villa. Perfect view, spacious, spotless and comfortable. The restaurant on site has a limited but nice menu. We did chose to eat breakfast there daily and it was delicious. The bar and outside area was beautiful and prices very good When you stay here you are 7.5 miles north and it is a bit of a drive into town There were a were a couple of restaurants within a mile of the resort. Secret beach is about 3 mi away. I would chose up north over San Pedro area as long as you are not looking for a lot of night life. We also rented a golf cart to meet us at the airport and would definitely recommend.

A definate solid stay!
Pros: - Very nice and attentive staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. - On site tour operator makes doing any tour, snorkeling, fishing very easy. (We had some tours cancel and it was super easy to find something else to do). - Room was clean and serviced every other day. - Hardworking staff cleans the beach everyday. - No problems with Sand Fleas or an overabundance of mosquitoes - Great handling of logistics, booking air tropic flight, airport pickup. - We arrived late after the restaurant closed and the driver was very upfront about this and stopped at the grocery store. -Golf Cart Rental is easy peasy, on site and includes fueling. I don’t know how the price compares, for the ease I wouldn’t have went anywhere else. Cons: - Very far from San Pedro Town. - 7 miles from a paved road. The road is really rough (but makes for an adventure). - Airport Transfer that is “included” for certain reservations is only included during certain hours - if ur flight requires you to leave earlier than 6 am from the hotel u have to pay for the transfer which was $50 USD. This seems a little misleading. - For someone who is a Starbies addict, no morning coffee counter or kiosk kinda bummed me out. But maybe this is my thing. - You might feel limited by the Restaurant offerings after a week. But **the pizza gets 5 stars all day long** - No Water Taxi or Shuttle to San Pedro Town. U can get a taxi but it’s a little pricey. This resort is very “quiet” and “tranquil”. If you are looking to disconnect, this is the place. If you are looking for night life, kids for your kids to play with, or hustle and bustle, this is not the place.

Fantastic Holiday Experience
Resort was fantastic, close enough to the reef to paddle out on a kayak and do some snorkeling. Booked a scuba/snorkeling trip at the dive shop, top notch all the way around. We had a family of 5 so they provided connecting rooms which made it much easier.
