I had such an amazing time at X’tan Ha. We stayed in the sea front villa for the week and woke up to see sunshine, calm turquoise waters that stretch out to the barrier reef. The room was perfect size for a couple and very clean and comfortable. We got the best of both worlds staying north of San Pedro; quiet, relaxing, great food, paddle board or kayak each morning, enjoyed the pool, and rented a golf cart to go exploring. The staff here are very nice and make you feel like you’re at home. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend!

Relaxation at its best
My husband and I just returned from an 8 day stay at X'tan Ha, and we're already trying to figure out how quickly we can come back. The other guests we met during our stay also commented on how great the resort was. Everyone knew our names and were so friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they had decorated our room. The property is gorgeous, and the beach was amazing. We saw rays, dolphins, multiple types of fish, herons and pelicans all from the dock. As other reviewers have said, X'tan Ha is a trek from town. We had a golf cart and went into town a couple of times, but the remote piece is more my vacation style, so it was just what we wanted. The nice thing about being up north, is Secret Beach is closer, and Tranquility Bay was a fun 1/2 day trip on the golf cart. If you want a place to rest your soul - this is it!

Lovely
We stayed in the sea side, upper floor and the view is just so amazing! It's a lovely beach, very clean and well kept grounds. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You get the feeling they would do their very best to accomodate any reasonable request. We went fishing, the restaurant chef cooked up the fish and made us a wonderful meal. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful stay!

An exceptional beach resort, Book now 🙌
We had the BEST FAMILY trip!!! The staff was so sweet and helpful. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the bar staff to the kitchen staff at the restaurant. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. We were greeted everyday with a smile and warm hello. The front desk made sure our accommodations were all met to our individual specific needs. The bar staff Alex and Reuben went all out for us!! Whatever we asked for they made it happen and with a smile!! When We wanted coconut drinks, they got us coconuts and made our drinks in them. The restaurant, After trying most everything on the menu, When we wanted to eat something off menu they immediately checked with the cook (who was amazing) and they said yes!! Every single meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Keep your chef happy they are an asset!! The villas were all super comfortable, working air conditioning, comfortable beds, mini kitchen were all perfect for us. One more thing!! We were there to celebrate a milestone achievement for our oldest daughter. The staff decorated her room prior to our arrival. It was so special and truly a wonderful surprise to our daughter. Balloons, banners decorated bed, towels made to look like a graduation hat and diploma. They thought of every detail. The beach and pool was tended to and cleaned each day and evening. We never had a problem getting a chair. Never had to get up early and “mark our spot”. Beautiful views, great staff and resort. Don’t think twice you won’t regret it. Book your stay and let the countdown begin!!

Great service by all at the hotel. Beautiful scenery. Snorkeling excursion with their partner company was on time and enjoyable. Aside from that, it's in a desolate location. Absolutely nothing to do around, and the hotel makes no effort to create events to keep guests entertained. Slept without dinner first night because even though we were told the restaurant closes at 7:30, when we reached out at 7 it was already closed. Food is very subpar. Drinks even lower. Rent a golf cart when you get into San Pedro, because if you wait till you get to the hotel, they're going to charge you 3-4x the amount it costs over there. I get up charging a bit, but that just seemed like they were taking advantage of the situation. You get what you pay for. We decided on this vs Grand Caribe because of the included breakfast, but absolutely wasn't worth it and food was subpar. Stay closer to town unless you want to do nothing but lay by the beach, pay for over priced drinks and microwavable food. Or rent a golf cart, but it is a bumpy and long ride.
