Nov 22, 2024Great Resort and Beach Town!
Very impressed with the resort and the surrounding area. The staff was accommodating and attentive from the moment we arrived on property. Staff out front greeted and directed us to check in parking. Front desk staff was friendly. Following a request to attend a timeshare presentation (we declined), we were given our wristbands (room and resort access). We had a two-bedroom Ocean View on the 7th floor. The room was nicely appointed with everything expected at a Club Wyndham. The Fitness facility downstairs was clean and the somewhat limited variety of machines functioned. Daily entertainment at the pool varied from tunes from a DJ to Steel Drum Performer to Singer with a guitar... some found it fabulous and others annoyed at the high volume level (depended on taste). The ocean and boardwalk are immediately accessible right in front of the resort. Walk for hours throughout the ocean area and town of Daytona Beach, great adventures!

Asked specifically for an ocean front and was given a 2 bedroom that sat directly behind the towers and clam shell.

Absolutely the worst experience. When we got there, they tried to sell us some time-share garbage after we had been in the car all day. Who wants to be hit up with a sales pitch after travelling all day? Just give me the room keys and stop with the pushy garbage. THEN, my car's back windshield was completely smashed Saturday night while on their property. The "security guy" just wanted to make sure I knew they were not paying for the glass. Not one apology and he acted annoyed the entire time. Like, dude, my car has been vandalized in your crappy parking garage you could at least show some empathy here. Do not stay here if you value your time or your property. They also put a 250.00 HOLD on your card until you leave which we did not budget for, so that was fun! I was out Epcot tickets fealing with my smashed out car window but like I said, no comps from these guys!!

Excellent Vacation
Beautiful accommodations close to all the action and places to eat. The Staff was very friendly and there to help with any reason..

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
Highly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. THEY canceled our reservation less than 24 hours before our arrival and now refuse to refund our money. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. Booked through Expedia and VRBO but neither have been able to help
