    Stay Away from this place. Totally Run Down and so sad as it used to be a great place.

    Over the past few years we have enjoyed staying at this hotel, but this time was not a good experience at all. We were totally let down by the staff at the front desk. Some could not even speak or understand English. Secondly the place has gotten run down. Seems the new owners are not investing money in the place to keep it up. So so sad to see how such a beautiful place in a great location can go to crap. From the entrance of the hotel to the room, we have seen total neglect of the hotel. Seriously, the bedspreads they have on the beds during winter look like shower curtains. We had to ask for a cover??? Seriously? It's negative temperatures outside and you put a thin bedspread on your beds. The pillows were the worse we have experienced. I mean where is the pride of ownership if they are going to pocket the profit and not put any money into maintaining it. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel (guest) said the same thing. They have seen it go downhill. They are the closest hotel to one of the best ski areas in Colorado and it is growing. How can they afford to not invest in the future? Anyhow, we are not happy and are very let down. Matter of fact, there were times when no one was even at the front desk and we were in the lobby for 15 minutes listening to the phone ring. Totally not acceptable.

    Would boy recommend.

    Cold hot tub, broken sauna and freezing pool. Blankets were torn and pillows were hard to come by. Stayed here previously years ago and head a great experience. There are other options in Winter Park for similar prices that we have stated many times.

    HORRIBLE!!!

    I stayed at this Hotel Three nights and refused to stay for my last night. Horrible Service. Checked in and soon as we get to the room we have zero towels and the Televison is t working, for the whole stay!!! I went down to ask for towels and they said they were washing them. Went back 4 hours later, line was out the door with people wanting to speak with management. I walked back to room and ran into a housekeeper holding what few towels he had and practically begged him robgive me at least two…he did. After that towels were obsolete and front desk were no help whatsoever. The restaurant was closed the whole time we were there so to eat we had to catch shuttles to different restaurants. The hotel is dingy looking!! We never got housekeeping service. We had one more night and I called for a ride to get me out of there back to Denver. Never ever again will I stay at this Hotel and neither should you if you like •nicer” things!! I would give it a negative number if I could!!!

    Hot tubs are green, window was shattered glass on one side, there were buggers on the wall of the bed, the comforter was super thin and seems dirty. Felt disgusting staying here, horrible for the price…. Breakfast is not free and all coffee was out

    DO NOT STAY HERE!

    We just left the Winter Park Mountain Lodge. Absolutely, do not stay at this hotel. We arrived Thursday evening at 6 pm and realized we had no towels in our room! Tried calling the front desk - the phone does not work. Went down to the lobby and told the front desk person. She said she'd let housekeeping know, but she didn't know what their schedule was. Three hours later, still no towels. We then realized that we had no soap in the room, nor did we have a blanket on the bed, just a thin sheet. Went back to the front desk. Finally got two mismatched towels at 10:00, but no soap or blanket. After talking to many other guests at the hotel, we found out no one had towels or soap. We talked to one woman who had no sheets or blanket on her bed and no towels. The people that work the front desk constantly were lying to us about the situation. We felt bad for them because it's not their fault. Asked to talk to a manager, and of course, there was no manager on site. As we were leaving this morning (Saturday), we told the front desk person we never got any soap, blanket or additional towels we requested.. All she said was, "sorry"! My husband and I have traveled a lot and never experienced anything like this. What hotel does not have towels for their guests? This hotel should be shut down or find new management. They are not providing what they advertise and what guests have paid for and expect. Stay away!!!
