    Very nice property

Westin was once an iconic property but after Starwood bought it, some of the luster was lost. Since Marroitt has taken over, it appears to be returning to its former glory. This property is marvelous. Only drawback is no beach. There are several very nice restaurants in or near the hotel.

    Relaxing Marina Runaway

Checked in and were greeted by Anna Marie - Guest Experience Expert- and she certainly lived up to her title. We had a beautiful two bedroom suite overlooking the Marina- beautiful layout- great bed and pillows and awesome screened in balcony. Each night upon our return from dinner she would greet us and even obliged my request to take some great pictures in the lobby which was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The main pool was being repaired so we took the golf cart ride over to the other pools. Had great breakfasts and lunch overlooking the Marina at the Naughty Mermaid! Great drinks too! Loved the complimentary dolphin watch boat ride right from the hotel dock. We were lucky to see several dolphins playing out in the Intercoastal! They were right up against the boat👍👍Thank you Daniel and staff for taking care of our Valet requests. This property is absolutely gorgeous and the staff always went out of their way to greet each of us. You certainly made our stay special! I would definitely recommend this property and plan to be back in the future!

Nice hotel, nice area, some issues jaded our stay

Came for a 3 day trip with my family. We checked in and went on our way for a very busy day. When we arrived back at the hotel in the evening of our first day, we found the side of the toilet to be very, very dirty, with either fecal matter or urine, or both. We immediately informed the front desk, and wanted to speak with a manager. They sent house keeping up to rectify it right away, and the manager did rectify it the next day as well. We also found out that their pool situated on the hotel property was out of commission for renovations from the hurricane. We were not informed about this at all, and we booked this only a week before our stay, 2 weeks after the hurricane. We should have been told this. This was okay because there was a recreation centre on property with two other pools , but it was a ways away. It is a difficult walk for those who cannot walk distances. They offer a golf cart service, but only if you can catch them. The front desk informed us to call the number provided (front desk and press 0). When we did call this number from the pool, there was no answer at all. We called and called and it kept ringing with no response. I also used the chat function on the app, also with no response. We walked back to the hotel, to ask to send a cart for our mother and they did. We informed the front desk that the phone wasn’t working, alongside the chat, and they responded with “I’m sorry”. The hotel is very nice, a lovely property with great amenities, but if a service is to be offered, it should be followed up with and it is importsnt to inform guests of any issues prior to arrival/at booking. I would return here due to it being a quiet, well taken care of area, but I wasn’t pleased with the situations at hand. Alex, at the restaurant was absolutely incredible though, a great bartender with an amazing sense of humor.

    Lovely laid back atmosphere.

Gorgeous grounds and views. Lovely rooms. Comfy beds. Great amenities. Full gym. Food and shopping was top notch. Bella and Judith at the front desk were knowledgeable and helpful. They both answered any questions we had quickly and confidently.

    Quick visit

Very clean good drinks food at hotel was good enough to not have to go out much. I did not like the charge for parking. When I look at a place and ask about parking and they say parking available, they should stipulate they charge most hotels they go to if they’re parking and you stay there it’s free. I find it very bad customer service customer to charge people parking when they’re staying at your hotel unless it’s valet. I was $20 a day !! Other than that Very nice view very good staff staff very good food. Good entertainment at night in the bar.
