Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort offers six floors of interior corridor guestrooms and several types of comfortable lodging and accommodations with beach and city views, from traditional hotel rooms and cozy Studios to spacious Two-Bedroom villas. Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort also provides direct beach access, as well as convenient access to the local attractions, amusement parks, water parks, entertainment complexes, shopping outlet malls, restaurants and live entertainment venues. Guests enjoy an abundance of onsite recreational amenities, such as a large heated outdoor pool, lazy river, childrens water play area, lap pool, hot tub spa, recreation center, exercise facility and game room, and an onsite golf director who will be pleased to assist you with a golf vacation that meets your needs. Resort fee of USD 9.95 per night per reservation - includes WiFi, local calls, fitness center and in-room safe. Our resort is pet friendly, allowing one cat or dog under 60 lbs per room- restrictions apply. For any pets, there is a refundable USD 75.00 deposit required, to be refunded if there is no damage upon check-out. There is also a non-refundable USD 80.00 cleaning fee, if bringing a pet. Resort fee of USD 9.95 per night per reservation - includes WiFi, local calls, fitness center and in-room safe. Please note that there is a USD 50.00 credit card or USD 200.00 cash deposit required for incidentals, to be collected at check-in. There are also fees for fax services and Internet access. There is an early check-out penalty of one night stay, plus tax. Check-in is at 4 pm. Check-out is at 10 am. For your convenience, our front desk is open 24 hours.     Great Staff

    Everything was very nice and in a convenient location. The weather wasn't the best due to fluctuating temperatures and winds, but we still had a great time. Unfortunately I had left some belongings behind. When I called to report my belongings being left behind, Security Officer Tim White went above and beyond in finding my items. He made sure they were packaged and mailed to me just like he said he would. Thank you Officer Tim White.

    JUST SAY "NO"

    I regretted the choice, less than 24 hours after arriving. The rooms are average at best -- no chair. Beds are like concrete. No housekeeping. The pools were filthy, yet supposedly open. Service average. Concierge is more annoying than helpful. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS IN MYRTLE BEACH.

    Employee who made me smile !

    On a recent visit to Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort- I had left a favorite pair of heels .. I followed the Westgate procedure for reporting, easy enough . Almost immediately I heard from Tim White ,Westgate Security they had found them ! I told Tim , I’d be back in a month and he promised they would be here safe ! They were! Thank you Tim White , for meeting me at the desk with my packages! I appreciate you!

    False Advertising, major disappointment!

    Westgate was a major disappointment! I reserved A Coastal View Villa Suite (see attached pic). The reservation pic and description highlighted a suite with a balcony overseeing the oceanfront/coastal view. I was so excited to celebrate my anniversary here! When I checked in with a moody desk clerk on our first night, I discovered my "coastal view" was 95% view of the hotel's parking garage (see pic). I complained to the staff the very next morning. "This was false advertising!" Nothing was done to change the accommodation. I asked to see a manger, but she was too busy to respond to my plea for the following 2 days. Ultimately, the staff's justification was that I could see some of the coast from a very small angles of the suite's balcony, therefore that justified the advertising, price and accommodation. I was infuriated! I left my number to speak to the manger who refused to respond to my cries for assistance on the matter. I spent 3 nights fuming over the unprofessional customer service and indifference towards the matter. Beware the Westgate advertising! Call for clarification on what they consider coastal/oceanfront view based on the room you are assigned. I could have paid less for better accommodations at other hotels along the Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. Major regret!!!

    Worst place to stay

    I am an owner of Westgate Vacation Villas. I used my week here and that was a big mistake. They have 2 buildings an owners building and an off the street customer. They refused to put me in the owners building because I didn't own it there. the room was smaller and didn't even have a full kitchen it was so small there was no table to sit at. We ate at the coffee table. That's not the worst. When it rained the water ran on the floor in the 2nd bedroom and the living room. It was dripping from the ceiling on the coffee table as well. The master bedroom leaked all over the bed and the mattress was soaked. I had to call 5 times to the main number to get a new mattress. The phone in the room just rings and no one answers any of the extensions. It was a horrible stay. When the maintenance guy came up to look at it he said usually when it does this I just suck the water out of the ceiling. So you know they are full of mold this was the normal for them.
