All Good # Great Stay
It is and always have been one of my most favourite hotels, spots in town. Love their rooms, facilities, hotel grounds, and even their bar and breakfast. I've taken the liberty taking a few photos and attached those. A great stay starts with a warm welcome upon arrival and a friendly smile. Will definitely book again.

Don’t stay here
My birthday Stayed here for location and to go out w family For about $350, I got the equivalent to a janitors closet Do NOT stay in room 1007 The TV doesn’t face the bed and isn’t maneuverable I knew I wasn’t getting “top shelf” for this price, but I’m absolutely stunned

Didn't feel safe
First night, check in was nice, requested housekeeping as it was my husband's birthday and our plan was to come back after a long day, sit on the bed, eat pizza and watch football. Went to take out the pizza and the refrigerator did not work, the pizza was ruined. Called down and was told, oh there wasn't a note. I said there was no note and the fridge could have been locked. I called down and while disappointing, not the end of the world. Woke up the next day excited to take our tours. It was a long day and when we came back Came back our door was broken and open. I called down, explained, was put on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and followed up with the app. Finally someone responded. Was told someone would be up ASAP. Took an hour. Was then told housekeeping reported it but it was not escalated. Made it seem like no big deal. It is a BIG DEAL TO COME BACK TO A ROOM THAT IS OPEN in any place but especially downtown Chicago. I completed a review the hotel sent and 3 days later I have yet to get a response.

Disappointed and Overcharged
Extremely disappointed with this return stay after a period of many years. Expected Gold status might get us a room with some kind of a decent view for a two night stay, but unfortunately, I guessed wrong. Room was very small, rug in the room had bunched up in spots or had wires underneath, so it was definitely noticeable and actually hurt my bare feet to walk on. Of course this disappointing stay was topped off with unexpected charges that I now have to take my time to dispute (after I was told there were no charges at check-out). I would highly recommend the Hyatt Centric, a hotel right around the corner that we put other family members up at. Their room was so much nicer with a fantastic view (plus no overcharges)!

Beautiful hotel, but fraudulent billing
This hotel has a great location and the interior is beautiful, but the front desk staff and manager are terrible. I was double billed for my stay. The front desk agreed it was a double bill, but had to get account fix it. After waiting for a half an hour, they still couldn’t fix it. I was late for my flight so I told them I would call tomorrow to fix. I called the next day, they said they would fix, but emailed me later to say they couldn’t fix it. I would recommend staying somewhere else to avoid the fraudulent behavior of this hotel
