    Amazing views, amazing staff, Cleanliness

Such attentive, kind staff. You can't find better people than the staff at every Villa Del Palmar. The food at Cabo is better, however, the activities in PV are phenomenal and they don't skimp on the alcohol. You will not have a cleaner facility.

Safe and fun trip for first time travelers.

Our stay at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta was so enjoyable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The pool was beautiful and getting a chair was easy at the pool and the beach. The food was great at the resort and we were also in short walking distance to many good restaurants and a grocery store. So easy. Our concierge, Magali with Malena and Martin, all bi-lingual, were so helpful and courteous. I hated to say goodbye to them. Anything we needed they arranged. This was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and thanks to Magali we felt safe and heard. I recommend Villa del Palmar above the rest based on courtesy, comfort and location. Wonderful trip.

    Gracias Magali y Moises

This was our second time staying at the Villa Del Palmar. We loved it so much the first time that we decided to bring our family. The service from the moment you arrive is amazing! Moises one of the guys that are there to open your door and ask if you need a taxi is really nice. We also had a great concierge Magali! She made our whole experience amazing and was always super friendly. Villa Del Palmar is extremely lucky to have her on their team! The rooms are very clean and do a great job with the housekeeping. Our stay went into El Dia De Los Reyes Magos and they offered complimentary Roscas and Hot Chocolate. If you’re looking for a resort to stay definitely stay at Villa Del Palmar. You won’t regret it!! Thank you for an amazing experience during our stay!!!!

    DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT VISIT THIS CRAP RESORT. It is the worst resort I have ever stayed. Having traveled to countless developing countries for work, this being the worst says A LOT. The ordeal was start to finish. When we checked in, which took over 45 minutes, we were not told that there is no water in our room until we went to the room and tried to take a shower after long flight. I called front desk and was told the water would be back on in an hour, no, it took 5 hours. So we went to the sushi restaurant at hotel because we were tired and couldn’t clean up because no water. The worst Japanese restaurant I have ever had. The salmon sashimi was smoked salmon you buy at Costco and the cost was $35 for 5 small pieces. The next morning we tried to take a shower and again no water. There is ZERO communication about this. No apologies until I complained. Final straw, the night before checkout I arranged for late check out with a fee of over $100. The day of checkout, a cleaning lady came to clean and when I asked the front desk why, they said oh we sold out overnight so you cannot have a late checkout notwithstanding you confirmed the night before. Again zero communication. The most incompetent resort I have ever stayed at. BTW, we have a timeshare and pay annual maintenance fees. If we are treated this way, what do you think would be your service if you are just staying one time? DO NOT VISIT. There are so much resorts in PV that you can find much better and have a good vacation.
