    Great Universal base

We stayed at Aventura hotel for our second week in Florida. We were in a standard room for 2 adults and one child. The room was adequately sized for us and our luggage. The bathroom had a large shower and toilet and the sink was in the bedroom area behind a screen. We ate in the hotel a few times. There was a good selection of food available in the food court but we opted for Starbucks most mornings as it was quick and easy. We enjoyed a swim in the pool most days after our time in the parks. The lifeguards were the most attentive I’ve ever seen at a hotel! We used the boat at Sapphire Falls to get to the Universal theme parks as found it quicker and a nicer journey than the buses. Although handy to be able to get a bus back when the boats aren’t running in bad weather. My son loved the hotel robot and we ordered food to the room a couple of times hoping the robot would bring it but it didn’t. The iPad in the room was great for accessing reception services. We also streamed movies to the TV in the evenings which was good. We didn’t eat at the rooftop bar but we did use it to watch a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral and there was a great view. We were there for the Boeing starliner launch and we went up to the roof but it was closed! So we had to watch from the car park roof instead. The hotel was conveniently located for the parks and International Drive shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay at Aventura hotel. Would definitely stay again if we came back to Universal.

Great hotel, but USD cost to CDN for food/parking is crazy high!

Booked this hotel through Universal website direct and I was not disappointed. I am giving them a 5 star based on what we paid versus the overall experience. Since we got such a great price (versus what is listed), I was completely satisfied. Clean, bright, and beautiful rooms with enough storage for the week were there. Was able to keep the room fresh looking. Attendants and all personnel were spot on. Knowledgeable, quick, friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that, as a Canadian, I found the onsite costs for parking (insane), coffee and food (outrageous), and drinks were not good. Offerings were either very, very expensive with the exchange rate, or unattainable. They charge $32 USD per night for parking which is about $48CDN. That is RIDICULOUS. To Canadians I would recommend this hotel, but go to Costco before going there and get some groceries beforehand, otherwise your daily costs will exceed the actual cost of the hotel room itself. Super convenient, right next door you can catch the water taxi to Universal, or any other hotel. Loved this.

    A place to sleep

The Aventura Hotel serves the needs of hotel within walking distance to Universal Studios. There are also shuttles every 20 minutes and boat rides from the Sapphire Falls resort. The hotel has a Starbucks and the resort own cafeteria. We feel the Starbucks to be cheaper than the cafeteria. The hotel also has an Universal Studios shop. We didn't use it, but the hotel also has an Avis car rental. We can't speak too much more about this hotel. We mostly just slept at the hotel - not using the other amenities it has to offer. The hotel was quiet if you're a sensitive sleeper. The hotel does have a person that can help you with the Universal Studios tickets.

    beautiful stay

was visiting my ld boyfriend (now fiancé) for a trip to Orlando. we stayed here and visited the parks and it was a week to remember. beautiful hotel with such a beautiful view (especially at night) from the 16th floor where my fiancé proposed. i won’t ever stop talking about it but i love the view we had. you could see the downtown Orlando skyline and it felt very romantic. it’s so clean and there’s a lot you could do. has a Starbucks inside so it was very convenient to get matcha for the fiancé. we will definitely be coming back for the summer since we came in December and it was cold :,-)

    Loved our stay!

We were a family of seven (with teenage children) travelling from Scotland staying at the Aventura for a two week stay and loved every minute! Such a lovely relaxed hotel. Check in was excellent, staff were very helpful, especially those who worked in the restaurant area and Starbucks, always joyful and polite! There is a good variety of food options, the noodle bar was excellent as were the pizzas and breakfast. We had skyline rooms which were fantastic, so spacious and immaculately clean and the beds were really comfortable. Being December, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The pool area was great too and loved by the teenagers in the evening with it being open late. We are returning in December 2025 and decided to take the water taxi down to the Hard Rock Hotel to consider options for next time but all of us agreed we are definitely coming back to the Aventura, without question and we cannot wait to walk through those doors! Thanks for having us.
