We were a family of seven (with teenage children) travelling from Scotland staying at the Aventura for a two week stay and loved every minute! Such a lovely relaxed hotel. Check in was excellent, staff were very helpful, especially those who worked in the restaurant area and Starbucks, always joyful and polite! There is a good variety of food options, the noodle bar was excellent as were the pizzas and breakfast. We had skyline rooms which were fantastic, so spacious and immaculately clean and the beds were really comfortable. Being December, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The pool area was great too and loved by the teenagers in the evening with it being open late. We are returning in December 2025 and decided to take the water taxi down to the Hard Rock Hotel to consider options for next time but all of us agreed we are definitely coming back to the Aventura, without question and we cannot wait to walk through those doors! Thanks for having us.

A Universal Dream!
Seamless check-in, perfect room with an amazing view of the park. Staff were friendly and food available was pretty good from the dining options. Beds were very comfortable and room very spacious for my best friend and I. We loved the availability of the shuttle service to and from the parks each day and also the fact that we were next door to a hotel that offered water taxis as well which we had access to. It made for a very convenient commute especially on very long park days when we were tired. I would definitely recommend this resort and would stay here again and again once we were in the area for a Universal trip.

Extraordinary customer service at Aventura!
Thank you Yarelys!! I walked to the front desk to get directions to a drug store. When I asked for directions, she asked whether it was for medications? When I said I needed distilled water, she confirmed it was for a CPAP machine and said ‘I have some for you.’ ❤️ I couldn’t believe it. Saved me a trip and gave me more time to enjoy the parks. Thanks Universal for being so considerate and thanks Yarelys for being you!! That’s memorable!👏🏾👏🏾

Jan 20, 2025Horrible experience would not recommend
To whom it may concern: We booked a king size suite at your hotel for 01-18-25 - 01-20-25 When we arrived we were informed that the king suite we booked is not available and we had been demoted to a queen room with two beds. We specifically booked the king bed and did not get what we received. When we arrived to our room immediately we noticed several things broken and not working. The TV would keep shutting off on us and freezing while watching it. For the duration of our stay the TV never worked properly. The phone was also not working in the room. And the shower door was making a horrible Noise when using it (please see attached video of the shower door noise). We called The front desk they apologized and said they would send engineering. Engineering tried to switch out our TV which they actually did 4 Times. All the TVS still never worked at all. The manager at the front desk Monique was not able to fully fix the issue which made our stay feel very disappointing. We have been coming to Universal resorts for years every year we enjoy coming to the parks and staying at one of the nice resorts Universal has to offer. Our stay at Aventura Hotel was the worst stay we have ever had in Universal and we will not be coming back ever or recommending this resort to any of our friends who frequent the Universal parks with their children and us. I would like a manager to reach out to me and please address these concerns I have attached for you a video of your broken shower door in room 1107 along with my invoice.

Jan 19, 2025Disappointing stay
This hotel is somewhat dated compared to other Universal hotels. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. The room was clean but stark. The windows are not soundproof which let in traffic noise from the highway. This was on the 10th floor. To be sure, we enjoyed the view of the fireworks each night but not the booms from them. Considering how far away they are we shouldn’t have heard anything. Whoever designed the shower didn’t consider the spray of water that came out onto the floor from under the curtain. Should’ve used glass doors instead. There were not enough paper and plastic cups in the room however ordering more from the ipad was easy and someone brought them promptly to the room. We ate breakfast each day and dinner one night at Urban Pantry and the lack of staffing was obvious. The tables weren’t cleaned and it took much longer than expected to prepare the food. Even something as simple as oatmeal took 25 minutes. The food however tasted delicious especially the wok bowls at night. Overall I was left feeling disappointed. I enjoyed my stays at Endless Summer Dockside and Sapphire Falls much better.
