We just returned from 10 unforgettable nights at Unico 2087, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member—from the friendly front desk team to the attentive wait staff and pool service crew—made us feel welcome and taken care of. The resort itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We spent our days lounging poolside, sipping on some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had, brought right to us with a smile. The pool service was absolutely top-notch—timely, friendly, and always thoughtful. Dining at Unico 2087 was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, but one of the hidden gems is the lemon meringue pie tucked away at the coffee shop—don’t miss it! It became a sweet little tradition for us during our stay. My husband and I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already dreaming of coming back. Unico 2087 is a slice of paradise we can’t wait to return to. Shout out to Eugenio!!!!

Unico - Perfection!
In any category you would list, I would give this resort five stars! This was our fourth visit and the visits continue to get better and better each time we vacation there. Staff: Butlers: we feel like we have the best Butler team with Roger and Israel being our butlers. They take care of us every time we visit and know all of our preferences. Any requests we have are promptly handled and they work as an excellent team. Once our reservations are made Roger and Israel take care of all of the details before we arrive Customer service: we had the pleasure of meeting Karen this trip who works alongside with Jacqueline who has been our customer service rep from our first visit. They also work as a team and checked in on us daily. Pool staff: we received excellent service at the chairman/Hall of Fame pool. All of the staff were very prompt ti ensure all of our needs were taken care of. In particular, Luis and Marcos Rauel , Edy and Josue Diego and Francisco took great care in setting us set up for the day. 20.87 Restaurant for breakfast: Astrid was our server at breakfast, and after the first day, she was able to set our table with exactly what we requested. She was always very attentive and prompt to check on us for coffee, refills, cleaning up dirty plates, and getting anything we needed during our breakfast. 20.87 Restaurant for Dinner: Manager Miguel es el da does an excellent job as manager of this restaurant which is open breakfast lunch and dinner. All the food there is consistently delicious. He does an excellent job in the evenings of checking on each table. Lunch: We were very fortunate to have two lunches catered to our cabana. Chef Victoriano and his staff prepared both lunches which were over the top. These lunches included fresh fish, scallops, fresh vegetables, shrimp, fruit, and dessert. Mi Carissa Dinner: Manager Irving es el da does an excellent job of being very present in checking on all tables while dinner is being served. He is very personable and makes the dinner even more enjoyable. Cricelda was our server and did an excellent job. Bar Staff: All servers were very prompt and getting our drinks and checking on us regularly Marisela has taken care of us each time we have visited the property and it was so nice to see her with welcoming drinks when we arrived at the property this time. She has been with the resort since they opened in 2019. Art Classes: Unico is very unique in that they offer nightly art classes first come first serve at 6 o’clock each evening Jorge Hernandez Lopez teaches the finger painting class, which is the best class offered in our opinion. His excellent teaching skills make the art project seem much easier than what it actually is. Sebastian taught two art classes that we attended: string art and huchol art. He was very knowledgeable in both types of art and did a good job instructing us General comments: This resort is continuing to improve each time we visit. All of the staff are pleasant and go above and beyond. The saxophone player which comes weekly to the resort is such a pleasure to hear by the pool. The addition of available books to read in the lobby and bar area are a very nice personal touch that have been added to the resort The familiar faces you see when you return to this resort are very welcoming. We are already looking forward to our next visit

This is MY hotel. I don't want to go anywhere else.
If you are looking to relax and chill with 5 star amenities, this is YOUR PLACE! Food is fantastic, drinks are fantastic and the service is top notch. Make sure to visit the spa for a heavenly treatment. Must ask for Alexander and Alejandro to be your butlers. You will be pampered like a Queen/King. We've been 3 time in 18 months. NOT a huge party hotel. This is more chill.

Relaxing minus the timeshare meeting request.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ amazing resort. From the employees to the food everything was amazing. The resort was very clean. Take as many towels as you want. The beach was basically empty but people were up early reserving spots by the pools. Some days were busier than others. There are lots of iguanas at this resort so be prepared to see them suntanning and looking for food. Housekeeping and turndown service was amazing. The beach was nice and they had a tractor picking up seaweed on a regular basis. Go to the far left of the resort where the resort ends and walk like 20 more yards and you will encounter no rocks. Waiters and waitresses were constantly on the beach asking if you needed anything and would bring out bottles of water in the morning. Wifi never went out and could be used anyplace to include the beach. The only negative is that as soon as you check in they try to get you to go to breakfast and lunch in order to get you to buy into their timeshare. They will entice you with discounts on excursions and massages. I told them no thank you and few days later they called again trying to entice you again with 75% off massages. Again we declined and third time they tried again but again had no interest. Would 10000% come back in a split second.

Raymond was an amazing bartender! Personable and funny! Great time! Best experience!!! He made the wedding experience great!!! Omg this was just the best time of my life and Raymond made it much better than amazing! Wonderful experience can’t say enough !!
