Chelsea tower is the worse tower to stay in Tropicana Resort Atlantic City. I love Tropicana but the tower is disgusting

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tropicana Resort January 24th-26th. We have never stayed in Chelsea tower but have stayed in Havana, west, and south tower. I decided to be different and try it out because I heard that it was renovated. Renovated where baby?! This has to be the most disgusting, old, dusty, moldy tower ever. I have pictures to prove it. The decor is horrible and yes the bed was made up but it was like was that the only thing that was done by the maid. It’s honestly sad I’ve been staying at Tropicana since 2014. This was a disappointment. I had blue and red hair in my shower. It’s mold in the sink. It’s an old vent in the room falling apart and dusty. The vent that does work blows out only cold air and it’s January. We were cold snuggled up under a thin sheet and blanket. The mirror has stains on it so how could you even take pictures in it. How embarrassing and disgusting. The drain in the bathroom look like it was a lot of soap scum build up in the drain. I always bring Lysol and bacterial wipes but it shouldn’t be my job to clean my room. If y’all want me to clean my own room then let me know beforehand and I will come clean it for a fee. I was just overall disappointed . I pay too much money to stay here and I’m a loyal customer. Tropicana you guys have to do better. You make too much money for half your rooms to look like a shabby off road motel.

    Better off anywhere else!

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. The first room 4915 smelled like a sewer, the heat didn’t work and all you could hear was the elevator. We moved rooms for the 2nd night and the walls were so thin all we could hear was our neighbors yelling and fighting until 4 in the morning and the phone didn’t work. Overall terrible experience. Would not stay here again. Especially for the cost!

    Cool Spot

Cool spot. Great food options and walking distance to Walgreens, Dunkin & 7 Eleven. Tropicana isn't one of my favorite spots, but I had a nice time. I might stay again in February. I normally stay in the West Tower but I stayed in the South Tower in December. I prefer this tower, close to the casino floor and easy access to food court and boardwalk.

    Dismissive empmoyees

The room we reserved was a comp room which was great! However, the lines at The Tropicana were horrible both for hotel check-in and for all of the elevators. During check-in we were in line and this older female employee would help the ppl in the back of the line before the ppl that had been waiting in the front of the line for quite some time. When several of us complained to her about it she became dismissive and ignored us. No one wants to wait in line and have ppl behind them helped, while you still are standing there waiting. I am disabled and have difficulty standing and I had just had open heart surgery. I say this because just because someone may look ok, it doesn't mean they are. I reported it to Zaire the employee at check-in. He was "supposedly" the person to report the incident to. I don't know if anything was done but Tropicana needs to have more employees at check-in and have a manager or someone that will not be dismissive to customer's issues.
