Nov 19, 2024Great for off-season recharging visits!
My sons attended SCAD in Savannah, GA and one now lives there. When I visit him (between September and May), I stay at the Westin Hilton Head. I get to unwind and recharge there, feel pampered and rewarded for all the years of being a mom, and slow down for a few days. Every stay here is exceptional, thanks to the hotel’s serene ambiance and thoughtful attention to detail. The rooms are impeccably clean and inviting, with plush beds, nice desk for journaling/ working, a comfy chair for enjoying the ocean view, and excellent showers. The calming fragrance throughout the hotel sets the tone for a peaceful retreat. Waking up to a stunning view of the ocean is worth the extra charge. I follow a special diet, and I can find something good and healthy to eat at the resort’s restaurant - while my sons - or a friend I meet up with - can enjoy the full menu. The staff is warm and welcoming, always making me feel right at home. The pools are clean, and the well-maintained pool decks provide the perfect space to relax and soak up the atmosphere. A walk along the beach is always healing. I look forward to returning to the Westin Hilton Head. Highly recommended!

Westin Hilton head meeting rooms Yvonne was execellent
Yvonne was our server at the Westin Hilton head and she was excellent at my executive meetings this week. Thank you Yvonne! You helped make our meeting a huge success. She had all my catering orders out in a timely manner. I really appreciate your hard work.

Wife's Birthday Getaway
Spur of the moment surprise for my wife, who loves HHI and the north end and we have been absent for 6 years. The Westin Resort has always been on our list to visit and we were not disappointed. The resort staff in all of the venues were very personal, professional and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We were fortunate to get up graded to an Oceanview suite that was recently updated, well-furnished and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed dining in all their venues because of a delicious and varied menu for each, with dishes well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed our walks on the beach and then relaxed by the pools with our favorite frozen drink. Because of the wonderful location we dined out at Frankie Bones and Fish Camp after only a five-minute drive. This Resort has it all for a very relaxing and stress-free beach getaway in one of the most beautiful Islands in the US.

Peaceful Getaway
Property was clean and the staff was great. The area the hotel is located in is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a getaway to unplug. Westin’s are usually my go to hotel due to their consistency of cleanliness and being very accommodating for those traveling with pups, The Westin Hilton Head Island is definitely another outstanding property for the Westin name. Be weary of all the negative reviews, while constructive criticism can help business’s stay competitive, I didn’t experience any of the complaints expressed and would absolutely recommend staying here. Thanks for a relaxing weekend, looking forward to my next stay.

Hotel is nicely updated. With all the amenities. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed comfortable. However we had two real issues. (1) the workout facilities are not useable. None of the 3 peloton bikes actually works. And the other cardio equipment is subpar. (2) they host wedding event with music so loud it vibrates the rooms on the 3rd floor. Well past 10pm. Not the expectation at a beach resort. Especially at this price point. No amour of apologies makes up for lack of sleep ahead of an early am departure for a morning flight home. Hate returning more exhausted than when we left. .
