No service no spa time.
It is an additional $35 charge to use the spa steam room, sauna a or whirlpool, even as a resort guest, that fee is on top of the resort fees. Gen the lady working the counter was extremely unpolite when I was able to discuss with management and be allowed to go into a basically vacant space as there were literally only 12 to 15 cars in the parking. She didn’t offer me a robe and tersely reminded me to be mindful and use the clock on the wall for my one hour limit. However Joslynn, Diasi and Yanilla were some of the nicest young ladies that made my birthday visit very special. Problem number 2 If you book on a third-party app, like Expedia, make sure upon check-in, you go to the front counter and verify everything on your receipt to get the amenities for which you have paid. Marriott Westin will tell you none of the items that you pay for on Expedia have transferred over onto the hotel‘s website. And you will have to stand at the front counter to contact Expedia (good luck finding their phone number without googling it to ) and have Expedia speak with someone at the hotel. And finally, problem number 3 At checkout, the bellhop room was locked. And we could not get a luggage cart. No one at the front desk has access so we wound up carrying all the bags down by ourselves. I cannot imagine being there during a busy crowded summer season if the service was this bad with so few people to actually service I imagine it is god-awful when full.

LOVED IT!!!
My wife and I absolutely fell in love with this resort! It reminded us a lot of our honeymoon in Cancun Mexico. But only for a fraction of the price! And it’s in the US!! I will be returning without a doubt 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone who’s looking for exceptional customer service, and location.

Pleasant But Unwieldy
Lovely room at a very good price off season, but the rest of the hotel was not very user-friendly. There are almost no tables to sit at indoors, so you have to balance yourself and your coffee on an overstuffed couch in the lobby if you don’t want to carry everything back to your room — a major trek, as the elevator is literally as far as it can possibly be from the front desk. (It’s 300 steps: I counted.) Signage is poor, so it’s a challenge to find anything on the sprawling property, and the outside areas are completely inaccessible to anyone who can’t manage a lot of stairs. I was (temporarily) walking with a cane due to recent foot surgery, and getting around this place almost did me in. Having said that, I was very comfortable in my room, and everyone on staff was wonderful.

Excellent service providers in a falling resort in a beautiful location
I am a local and visit the spa and facilities. On my recent visit, I was shocked at how far this resort has fallen. It is truly an insult to the wonderful employees and providers who work there. Also a HUGE insult to guests. I have included pictures. It is ridiculously dirty! The mold, rot and filth seems to have been there for a long time and didn’t “just happen”. At one point I used my towel to clean the floor in the spa. Please someone do something!! Any manager should be embarrassed!

Bad maintence
Old hotel. Hot water was not working. Had to take cold showers. Elevators broken. This place needs maintence badly Would not recommend this property. Great location on the beach but this hotel has maintenance issues. When you charge people for a room without hot water and elevators don’t work you should get your money back but they won’t.
