Wonderful experience and charming service!
our second stay at the Westin Hilton Head and we were very happy with everything. A special shout out to our morning server Theresa. Her hospitality shone as she offered us tips and advice about life on this beautiful island. Thank you Theresa and we look forward to seeing you on our next visit!

Best Resort
Best place to stay in Hilton Head! I felt like I was at a resort in the Caribbean. Great property, food, staff, and area. You can tell the GM is amazing leader. You don’t have the leave the resort. Everything is on property. Pool fun food and more.

Great stay in Hilton Head!
Great resort in Hilton Head. Pro’s- service! Everyone was going out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. Big shoutout to Molly who was serving poolside. Wow!!! This young lady worked extremely hard all day to ensure each guest was taken care of. From the front desk, room attendant, pool, and restaurants, Food was also on point at each venue. 0 issues. Rooms were decent, we were not in them often but the view from floor 5 was perfect. Con’s- elevator.. there were on going issues with several elevators. The only beach EL was very small and constantly packed. There were only 3 working while we were there so be prepared to walk. Pool chairs were a disaster every day… be prepared to get up early each day to get a decent chair around the pool. I would keep the gates locked until you opened the pool… Other than that.. we will be back!

Totally disappointed!
Where do I start? At approx $700 a night we are shocked at the lack of luxury that we are used to at hotels with this high of price point! We arrived last night and are reluctantly sticking it out for another night. We have beach front rooms but instead of hopping on the elevator to quickly get down to the beach we have to do the 1/8 mile walk to the elevators just to get downstairs b’cuz the elevator to the beach is out of order. I jokingly asked some co-elevator riders if their walk to their rooms was as long as ours and they all said OH YEAH! The toilet handle must be held down for 5-6 seconds to flush. I hopped in the shower and no shampoo or body soap in the wall units. We called the desk at 10:45 pm and a grumpy housemaid came up to restock them. She threw my just used once bath towel on the floor of the tub and knocked or threw a non-used hand towel on the floor and just left them. And she also just left a full bottle of conditioner on the side of the tub b’cuz it (wasn’t asked for or) required. The towels look shabby. There is only one robe, I guess one of us goes without. The furniture in the room is also shabby with plexiglass on top. There is a fridge but no microwave! There is one electrical plug and a USB on both to sides of the bed. Stupidly, the long counter under the TV doesn’t have any electrical outlets accessible! You have to order lounging chairs. Most places we’ve stayed at you just walk up to the kiosk and tell them how many and they set them out for you. Here, they give you a phone number…. They were also the last hotel to even set them up this AM! Public restrooms are few and far between. The one I went in had a filthy issue that I brought to her attention… The walk to the beach is a LOONG one!! Needless to say, will will NEVER stay at this horrible Hilton Head Westin Hotel again. Check your hotel for the distance between your room and the elevator and to the beach! We’ve been traveling, working hard and was looking forward to coming here to relax not to go hiking!! When we told the girl at the desk about all these issues she offered to give us $200 off for last night and tonight. But then she only gave us $100 off for each night. This place, without having the easy convenience to the beach is not worth $700. Having to hike to the elevators is not worth it. Holding a toilet handle down just to flush is NOT WORTH IT!! We’d be happy paying $500 but $700 it is definitely not worth it! In case you’re wondering, I didn’t correct the girl b’cuz I was fed up with all of the realtime aggravation and figured my scathing review would suffice. So there you have it. I hope this gives you some pointers to check into before you travel so you don’t wind up hiking when you just want to relax, or if you have trouble walking long distances!! And what’s even more frustrating is that the beach elevator is right across the hallway from our room and most likely would have brought us right to our room without the hike!! Do yourself a favor, Pick a BETTER HOTEL!! As for the food at least we have no complaints there… too bad that is all this place has going for it.

Exceptional customer service
I have been to many resorts all across the world but the Westin is one of my favorites! Mainly because the staff here is amazing! One particular woman at the front desk was exceptional! We had a problem with our room and she was able to fix the problem and make everyone feel like we were her #1 priority! She made us very happy ! Thank you Cosette!
