Jan 27, 2025Perfect Location, Staff, and Beach
We have visited the Grand Cayman Westin Resort many, many times. We travel the world extensively, but we always return to this Westin each and every year. Its location is excellent, being right on the beach; its facilities are clean; the beach is well-kept; the beach ambassadors are attentive and friendly; the servers are friendly , cheerful, and efficient; the location is also conducive to morning walks and nearby dining. All of the front desk staff is welcoming, friendly, and caring, and Helly, Poppy, and Adela in particular were professional, enthusiastic, attentive, and caring. What assets to your resort staff! Also, service throughout the resort was impeccable. We knew everyone of the servers by name, and they greeted us with a smile and hugs, and remembered us warmly from years past. The housekeeping staff, as well, was attentive, friendly, and meticulous, refreshing our room daily and offering a turndown service and clean towels as well as additional waters. The doormen, too were genuine and attentive, addressing us continuously by name and making us always feel welcome. The pool and pool decks were cleaned daily, and the beach umbrellas were new this year, so that was appreciated. As an additional note, the rooms and hallways seem to be refreshed frequently, with paint touch-ups and repairs. We appreciated our balcony and enjoyed the evening music after dinner each evening, as well as the view during our morning coffee as well as throughout the day. As for dining, being at the Westin for fourteen days, we tried each of their dining options and appreciated the variety of menu options--for vegans, meat lovers, and seafood enthusiasts alike. We look forward to our return to the Westin Grand Cayman next year, most definitely!

The wonderful Westin
2nd time staying at the Westin 7 mile and it was every bit as beautiful as the first time. Very warm and friendly staff even those that aren’t specifically assisting you. Great pool and beach. Food is very good. We eat out mostly and it is a great location so it is walkable or a short drive to a long and varied list of fantastic restaurants. We’ll be back next year for sure!

Great Experience at the Westin Grand Cayman!!
We just spent a week at the Westin Grand Cayman on seven mile beach and enjoyed every minute of it. The check-in process went smoothly with plenty of staff to assist the many visitors arriving at the same time we did. Our room on the fourth floor overlooked the pool, the beach, and the Caribbean Sea. Every day our room was refreshed beautifully and included fresh towels and water. We hung out on the beach most days and were set up under an umbrella with towels and with chairs thanks to Doreeth and Ferrick. During the day the beach wait staff (Barbora, Lauren, and Shawn) were attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. We had a wonderful and expansive breakfast buffet each morning at Ferdinands. Bryn and the other hostesses greeted us happily to show us to our table. Sanje made the best omelets (and waffles). The wait staff (Henri, Jeff, Nicolai and Reynald) took great care of us. A few evenings we dined at Ferdinands and the food was delicious. We really liked the rosemary roasted chicken. After dinner we usually spent some time in the lobby bar, which most evenings had live music from 8-10pm. We had the same easy experience checking out. Poppy, the “Experience” manager chatted with us about our stay and gave us some ideas for our next visit that we hope to make next January with children and grandchildren (yikes!). All-in-all, this was a wonderful vacation for us. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. We can’t wait to return!

A perfect holiday getaway
We just returned from staying at the Westin at Cayman for the second time and once again the service was impeccable. In particular I would really like to thank Poppy Holt for really going out of her way to make sure we were well looked after (we were a party of 12). There was some juggling of rooms requested and she did an amazing job keeping us informed at all times. These details make all the difference. The housekeeping staff were great (I apologize I misplaced the name card I had asked for in the last minute packing) for both the rooms we were in, as were the front desk staff and everyone else. We are already planning our return next year.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed here for my husband’s work trip. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to friends and family and would stay here again. Very clean peaceful resort, friendly professional staff, clean peaceful beach with staff Ray to help you set your towels up on your chairs and put your umbrella up or take food and drink orders. We had lunch on the patio one day and it was really nice. We had dinner on the beach one evening and we really enjoyed it and had the best service! The shuttle service was great back and forth to the Ritz for the meetings and events and the staff was super friendly and professional with keeping the tanners going and the taxi to the airport. Hope to stay again sometime!
