Great hotel
Great hotel - been staying there frequently for years and finally decided to write. I've been traveling to Houston several times a year for over a decade. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Always get a nice room with a comfortable bed and the convenience of the mall just steps away. The new executive lounge has one of the best breakfasts of all the Bonvoy properties i have stayed at. And it's always great to get that good morning greeting from Vilma the host who also has energy and is super friendly.

Good and comfortable stay
We stayed in an executive suite for nearly a month. It was comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping. Positives: - Daily housekeeping - nice smart TVs - two bathrooms in the suite - nice view across uptown Houston - very helpful customer service - good breakfast in the executive lounge - the restaurant- daily grill - is excellent Negatives - bad and slow WiFi - the room had a weird smell - which seems typical of all hotels in the US for some reason. Overall a good stay and we would surely return.

It could have be an excelent stay but it really finish as an unpleasant one
We stay there for 2 nights as we were going to the soccer match between Argentina//Ecuador. The hotel is nice well place inside The Galleria Mall, the only problen coud be that you gave to go to the restaurant in the mall for breakfast luch or dinner. the worst of all was that we request information for transportation to go and come back from the Stadium, and the FRONT DESK offer us the service of a transport the hotel use, we request if they can inform us the price for the service and that will be 6 passangers. We were inform the service has a price of u$d 95 each way they take us, and after the pick us for coming back. I have being going to all the matches and using similar services in other stadiums, so the price was similar , and also we were offered we could charge it to our room. We accept, up to here everything ok, we got the service, but when we left yesterday the hotel, did the check out the charge for the transport was not still , and today we recive the bill for u$d 300 for the service. We call the Hotel and the answer was THE SERVICE IS GIVEN BY A THIRD PART WE DONT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, CALL THEM AND ARRENGE WITH THEM. But the charge was done to my room, I didnt pay to the Limo company, never they told me to talk to the Limo and check the price of the service, THE FRONT DESK OF THE HOTEL WAS THE ONE WHO TO MY QUESTION OFFER THE SERVICE GIVE ME THE PRICE

WHAT AN AMAZING FRONT OFFICE STAFF
Our stay at the Houston Westin Galleria was made very special by an amazing Marriot Staff called Madison Martindale. She was an exceptional staff that pays attention to details and the needs of customers. We got to the hotel late that night and were very tired but the tiredness quickly went away when I walked up to the front desk and got greeted by the BEAUTIFUL GENUINE SMILE of Madison. She was very pleasant, very professional and very caring for customer’s well being. She went an extra mile to make sure that we enjoy our stay at the hotel. The accommodation was very pleasant and beautiful. We found out later that Madison is one of the Front Office Managers. Way to go Madison! You represent your position and the Westin Galleria Hotel very well. We had an amazing time at the hotel and we will DEFINITELY stay there again. Thank you again Madison.

Elgert was great!
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Especially the bellman Elgert! We requested a low floor for the convention we were attending and they were able to accommodate us with just one phone call to the front desk. One of my favorite hotels!
