Pet Policy Pets Allowed:

The hotel will charge a $75 non-refundable Pet Fee to cover any deep cleaning process.

    Nice beach hotel with reasonable rates

    This hotel is across the street from the beach with nice views from the rooms if you have an upper floor. There were a lot of business conferences going on while we were there for pleasure so the front desk was always busy. Staff were nice. The bellman who was an older gentleman was very engaging and loved sharing his enthusiasm for all the hotel offered. It was great they had an on-site Lavazza coffee shop onsite which was open til 10:00PM which we loved. Rooms were well maintained

    Best birthday surprise ever

    I must admit I am a member of Marriott’s frequent flyer program but this trip was beyond my expectations. I had booked a water view room and at checkin was told I have been upgraded to a suite, oceanfront! When the beautiful Melva found out it was also my birthday, she gave us a lovely bottle of wine.

    Loved my stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

    Great stay starting with the check in. Herson, who checked me in, was warm, engaging and helped explain everything so that I could take advantage of all the hotel had to offer. The hotel also has the best towels I've experienced in a long time, a comfortable bed, a complimentary lavender balm on the night stand to help you sleep better and a waterfall shower. Loved the Starbucks on site and a great restaurant option, Lona Cocina, which I highly recommend. I will definitely return to this hotel. Loved it!

    Disappointed

    This has been my go to hotel for many years. Unfortunately I may have to go somewhere else next time. There has been a notable decline since my last visit. My room has a very musty smell. The bathroom mirror is peeling. There is a tile missing on the bathroom wall. There is rust on the magnifying mirror.My night table lamp is burnt out. I was assured upon check in that I had a really nice room. Makes me wonder what the other rooms are like. As well the valet service is severely lacking.Checking out next week and not sure if I will be back. Very disappointing.

    Not a 4 star hotel

    Stayed there for a conference in January just this week. We have been at this hotel before and it was "well used" but supposedly had been updated. Unfortunately, many in our group of just under 50 thought the rooms still needed significant updating. For my room, gaps in the room door to the hallway were significant so the noise in the hallway was significant. Shower had been spot caulked without even trying to match the shower tile (see attached picture), missing shower tiles (not pictured), corrosion/mold on the shower rails, wall, and tile. Finally, the valet which apparently is an outside vendor for the hotel temporarily lost my rental car keys causing me to Uber to dinner with clients. After about 3 1/2 hours, they apparently had given them to another guest along with his own keys who later turned them in. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
