comfortable stay
I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable experience. Its prime location made it easy to access nearby attractions and great restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was a standout, offering a fresh and varied selection. Overall, it's a top-notch choice for both business and leisure travelers!

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Fort Lauderdale Westin Beach resort
We checked into the Fort Lauderdale Westin Beach resort on December 18 for four nights. Check-in was fantastically smooth, our room was just as expected, and dinner in the Lona cocina and Tequileria was fantastic. Highly recommend the lobster quesadilla and the guacamole. We visited the heavenly spa on three days that we were there. We had pedicures, the Hydro facials and a couples massage... they were all fantastic. I would like to say that Charmaine was the most outstanding associate that we encountered during our entire stay, she completed our pedicures and the Hydro facials, which I highly recommend... it was the best treatment I've ever had in a spa anywhere. Andy and Victoria completed the couples massage, and they have magic hands... thank you so very much for a beautiful day. The waves pool bar was extremely fun, DJ was very tuned into the crowd and really made for an enjoyable visit to the pool. Everyone we encountered was very kind gracious and attentive. We did have an issue with a credit card mixup at the desk, however the day after checkout Pam and accounting went above and beyond to assist me and trying to correct the issue 🙏🏼 This trip was with my granddaughter for her birthday and graduation and it was a trip to remember, largely due to the team of associates at the hotel and Spa. God bless and thank you ✌🏼

Another great experience
I made another trip in October for my daughter's birthday. These guys are truly gracious folks. The staff are starting to recognize me and my daughter, they always manage to treat her in some special way, and I am always so grateful for those gestures. Sharna was particularly kind on this visit as was Hannah, as she always is. Thank you so much guys and I hope you have a Happy Holiday season! Kindly.

Disappointing stay at an overpriced property. Would not recommend.
SUMMARY: Overpriced. Terrible amenities. Great location. Good service. Spent almost $1k on a 3 day stay that was NOT worth our money. Do not make same mistake and stay at a different nearby property. Trust me on this one. I am deeply disappointed that this property bears the Westin name and is part of Marriott’s esteemed selection of resorts. While I understand older properties come with certain challenges, this one falls far short of acceptable standards for the rates charged. The location is fantastic, but the hotel itself is extremely outdated. The rooms are tiny, the design antiquated, parking is overpriced, and the amenities are subpar. Our room lacked a functioning smart TV, leaving us with an outdated model that couldn't stream our services. There was a constant AC related leak that went on all night throughout our whole stay. We could also easily hear the other guests in hallway and rooms and vice versa. The bathroom was uncomfortably small, making our morning routines difficult, and the work area, while functional, felt inadequate given the premium price. Not to mention that in order to open the main door, you had to open the bathroom door, which essentially led to my husband accidentally surprising me while I was on the toilet... as well as guests that were passing by the hallway. Although the customer service was excellent—special thanks to Irene at the front desk—the booking process was frustrating as we had to do it last minute. Long story short, our booking ended up being for a double bed with out ocean view which we thought we were ok with. This was due to the booking suggestions we received from the front desk staff. We ended up with a double room instead of the King we wanted. While the effort was made to upgrade us, we ended up with a mostly parking lot view. Additionally, the lobby temperature was unbearably cold, a common complaint among other guests we spoke to. Finally, during check-out, we were incorrectly charged for a bar check we didn’t incur. While this was resolved quickly, it delayed us just enough to cause an issue with our rental car return. In summary, while the staff made an effort to provide good service, the state of this property is unacceptable for the price and standards associated with the Westin and Marriott brands. Will not be recommending and will not be staying again. Again, deeply disappointed.

Steps away from the Beach
From the moment we stepped through the hotel doors an incredibly calming air just came over us. We were immediately greeted by Bonvoy representative, Rica, who was so charming and courteous that we instantly felt welcomed. I was traveling with a friend and colleague who lives in Pittsburgh and doesn’t get to ever see the Floridian sun, Rica made sure her room had view of the ocean and gave us a pretty thorough rundown of the hotel layout and the restaurants and bars. She was amazing and was a great start to our stay. There is a beautiful live wall jut before the Lona restaurant that give the hotel modern earthy feel that makes a beautiful companion to the ocean right cross. The hotel is perfectly located with a beautiful ocean view almost from any area in the hotel including from the Starbucks that has a very nice deck area to stare at the waves and the clear blue skies. Unfortunately, I was incredibly windy and a little chillier than usual for South Florida so we were unable to swim, but we were still able to sit out on the beach with our drink and enjoy the salty air. Everyone around the hotel was very friendly and we had a great time. It was clean and we had everything we needed, if anything was forgotten, there is a gift shop of course for little things you might have forgotten. The spa looked very relaxing and had a good variety of treatment options although we did not get to use it this time around. I would definitely stay here again, overall it was great value for money in comparison to some of the other hotels on that strip. Special thank you to Rica at Bonvoy for starting us off right!
