I have to agree with the other reviews the hotel is outdated and needs a modern touch especially the bathrooms. Overall we were lucky we didn't have some of the issues others have mentioned. The room was good except they don't clean the bathrooms well- a hair was on the shower wall for 2 days before i cleaned it off. gross. The reception staff were nice and did call us to check in a few times. nice touch. we did ask one staff member a few times if she could arrange special items at the restaurants since we have some restrictions. She said I will look into and get back to you and twice never heard from her lol. Not surprised the Royal doesn't have that personal touch. Its just a place of chaos. they staff seemed friendly and ok for most places but were not willing to go above and beyond for guests which is sad. Now the restaurants most of them were not the best some were better. The water park is huge, the resort is huge lots of walking around. The water park needs to have more safety measures in place and I was injured there and if they had a better plan in place it would have avoided my injury. I probably wont return as there are so many better hotels in the area with better reviews. Atlantis sees reviews but it sounds like they just don't care to improve.

Everything top notch loved every bit of it loved it only missing was vegetarian options would have been more loved it staff was amazing gorgeous people guest transit lounge is amazing loving the people and staff housekeeping staff in room dining plato bar also great loving g

Bahamians are top notch in the hospitality industry!
Customer service was outstanding from all aspects. Bahamians do know their hospitality! Overall we were able to enjoy, relax and have a pleasurable experience. The food service and beverages were delicious throughout the property. Nobu is a must!

Love the place, the management needs some work.
Some staff were amazing, others were rude. The good was great, went to Nobu twice. The beach staff were incredible. Getting into the room was a challenge, and we were promised one thing, another happened. Servicing our room the first day didn't happen, we had to ask the front desk. It was blamed on the do not disturb signal, yet we had turned it to green. Instead of accepting that it was overlooked they blamed us.

New Family Favourite Location
Beautiful resort, well maintained and exceptionally clean grounds. Staff were always helpful while being respectful and polite and very friendly. Rapid river was a family favourite for the kids (11,7). Will definitely come back again!
