Nothing stays the same….
We booked a suite in the Palazzo Tower with a sphere view. If you choose to stay at the Venetian the upgrade to the sphere view is absolutely worth it as the magnificent sphere is hypnotizing. That said it pains me to say we will not return to the Venetian. We have stayed at the Venetian on numerous occasions and enjoyed it, but have not returned since Covid. The Palazzo Tower suites have not been upgraded in many years and are worn and showing their age. Decor and comfort aside, the in room entertainment system is comparable to a small town motel with no functional streaming options available to us - not a good look for a high-end casino/resort hotel. We sprung for the upgrade to access the prestige club which was so not worth it. While the staff were very accommodating, the breakfast offerings and happy hour appetizers are marginal at best and while you expect crowds in Vegas, the whole hotel, including the prestige club and fine dining restaurants, feels overbooked and understaffed. If you’re headed to Vegas and willing to spend at this price point (weekend rates, tower room and club upgrades) , shop around, you can do better.

Great Stay for a Convention
Wonderful, beautiful resort hotel. The rooms were immaculate and huge, the shower was nice, thought there was no stool for a lady's foot while shaving. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of walking, but it's Vegas! I wish one did not have to walk through the smoky casino to get to the suite's elevator, and I wish the path was better marked.

A pretty nice place!
Huge suite with a nice living area. Ask for a room that faces the SPHERE and you can watch it change displays, which is fun, especially at night. Good bedding, clean, nice decor, pool area is nice. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room, upgraded toiletries (I think Hampton Inn has better), and a couple more towels. Shower head was not low-flow, despite this huge hotel being smack in the middle of the desert. No in-room recycling bin. But it's Vegas, where the general theme is living the last days before the Apocalypse, so I guess the environment isn't important.

Disappointing
We came for an overnight to experience the Sphere and chose to stay here for proximity to the venue. Very confusing access from the Venetian, even to our driver. Once inside and checked in, it was the usual Las Vegas, including a mandatory walk through the casino to get to the elevators. (After the show, the elevator line was so long that we asked if we could use the stairs to get to the 7th floor, but were met with a shrug - staff couldn’t direct us to the stairs!) The hotel is walkable to the Sphere through an interior pedestrian passageway which is a big plus if that’s your reason for being in Las Vegas. There is no in-room coffee setup, so rather than waiting for coffee to be delivered at a specific time, I was forced to trek down to the Starbucks outpost on the lobby level - the line was long and took 15 minutes to navigate at 7:45AM. (I have not seen a hotel room without DIY coffee in many years. Clearly this is a way to generate more revenue, but it’s pretty aggravating - especially when the cost was over $600!) Room service breakfast was a HUGE disappointment, arriving lukewarm in disposable containers! Only the utensils were metal. So much for this hotel’s commitment to “sustainability!” Such a presentation is more suitable to a Motel 6, than to a 4 or 5 star hotel! On that note, our “suite” had a living area two steps down from the bedroom area with no other separation - not really a suite. All in all, it was a functional place to stay, but I would probably stay at the Wynn if coming back to the Sphere.
