Elevated experience to make holiday stay special
My husband and I decided to stay at the Hythe Luxury Collection during the holiday season. The location of this hotel is fantastic, and the staff provide exceptionally friendly service. What makes our stays even more delightful is seeing our old friends working at the bar, Nick from Illinois and Alex from Macedonia. Over the years, we have come to know these staff members well, and it is an extra treat to be recognized and engage in pleasant conversations with them. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet, along with top-notch restaurants, bars, and a market. The quality of the food is superb, and while the prices are on the higher end, it is expected given the location and the effort to source fresh ingredients. Seating could be a bit chaotic especially on weekends. Marriott Bonvoy elite members can opt in for breakfast, and I highly recommend it over 1000 Bonvoy points. The amenities are excellent. The hotel conveniently takes our skis to Lionshead, saving us the hassle, even though it is only a short five-minute walk. The gym is well-equipped with various options, and there are refreshments like fruits and bottled water available. Valet parking, luggage services, and the check-in/check-out processes are all very streamlined and efficient. We had a little problem in using an Amex gift card. Julia, the front-desk manager has been instrumental in communication even after the checkout. Overall, our experience at the Hythe Luxury Collection was outstanding, and we will definitely return over and over again.

Lionshead Vail best hotel.
When I stay in Vail, this is my go to hotel a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola in lionshead you can walk across the street and go to the little diner, which is one of the best breakfasts you can get in Vail great pool, hot tub, and spa! There is a free shuttle stop directly in front of the hotel to get you anywhere you need to go in Vail plus a first come first serve driver shuttle. If you’re parking a car, you don’t really need it if you want an incentive not to have a car $60 of parking would be it in addition to $60 per night resort fee. What you’re my only gripes about this hotel. The rooms are sizable plenty of places to stow your gear if you need it I do recommend using the mountainside ski valet way easier. If you have status, the breakfast is great not sure that I would pay for it but my go to happens to be the little diner. The resort staff are excellent.

Best hotel anywhere!
This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff is so nice that I could stay and ski alone and be comfortable. They say “yes” to everything! I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Plus, it’s great access to the mountain. Every time I left the room it got cleaned. The spa is wonderful and the restaurants are fantastic and great service! 6 stars for me!

Relaxing Mountain Trip
Beautiful resort with great customer service from all employees. The pool was actually warm enough for a dip even in 20-degree weather. They had free s’mores and hot chocolate. One night they even had some charcuterie-type snacks in the lobby.

Fantastic Family Weekend at The Hythe, Vail
Our family loved our stay at The Hythe! The room was spacious with beautiful mountain views, and the kids enjoyed the heated pool while we relaxed at the spa. The on-site dining was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond, helping us plan activities like ice skating and tubing. The location near Vail Village was perfect, and the complimentary shuttle made getting around easy. A perfect mix of comfort, luxury, and family-friendly service—we’ll definitely be back!
