A good on hill stay.
A 6 night stay for skiing. Pros: Close to lifts ( a couple minute walk); Clean; Reasonable price; Parking; Shop across the road for basic groceries/supplies; Comfortable bed; Spacious room and bathroom; Amazing scenery. Cons: Staff while polite and friendly, didn't seem that knowledgeable; Could do with a makeover, starting to show its age; Staying on the hill (as opposed to in Crested Butte township) there is limited dining at night.

Have stayed much nicer at Crested Butte Mtn.
Condo was old. Not well appointed nor updated. Needs new beds and LR furnishings. Lots of firewood was good thing. Kitchen totally not stocked adequate for a week stay when planning to eat some meals in. Inadequate cooking pans, pot, skillet. Inadequate Available restaurants make the need for adequate kitchens in units an essential.

Fine but there are better options
Pros: Location close to lifts and shuttle stop Rooms are spacious Parking and amenities are included Cons: Crowding makes amenities such as pool, hot tub, and parking difficult to enjoy Hot tub has been at or over capacity the entire stay Wifi does not work. Expect to use your cellular data Rooms are dated Heat and plumbing are unreliable. Our toilet clogged and room would not heat past 60F This hotel is mostly families. Expect lots of children. Overall, a fine stay for the price. Will look for alternative accommodation next time we are in town.

Bad wifi for a sustainable connection.
Really bad wifi connection. Don't try to do any business. I was visiting for a conference, and my husband was trying to work remotely. He could not sustain an internet connection. It's very frustrating for a hotel that boasts a good wifi connecting for business.

Dogs, dogs, and more dogs
This place is probably the worst hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Please note it is extremely dog friendly. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs but generally, hotels that accept dogs have certain rooms dedicated to those that have dogs with them. Not this hotel, dogs are everywhere and the smell is outrageously obnoxious. It’s not exactly the dog smell but the chemical cleaners they use to mask the dog smells. I think I would rather smell dogs than the horrible chemical smell. I am not allergic to dogs one iota but I could not stop sneezing in this hotel. Perhaps it was their gross chemicals. Just step into the lobby and you will know what I mean. The lobby also has a lingering smoke smell that is being masked by their chemical cleaners. Now onto the rooms, very basic which I was expecting. I also wasn’t expecting A/C (like most mountain hotels) but that’s not usually a problem because you can just open a window a night and cool the room that way. Not this hotel. There is only one teeny window that will open but you would have to open their 30 year old drapes to even get a whiff of that fresh air and we couldn’t do that because our first floor room looked out into the parking lot. We stayed here two nights and came back from an extremely long day of hiking from CB to Aspen to find that we didn’t even get housekeeping. So what is the $25/night resort fee for? No clue! I mean I guess it was better than camping is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel.
