My 3 week stay was wonderful. I could not pick a favorite restaurant as all of the food was delicious. The staff were amazing as well. Their attention to detail was impeccable. I also took in the fitness classes and attended yoga and pilates by an NRG2GO instructor. She was very knowledgeable and fun. I enjoyed the classes very much. Special shout out to Alan and Ingrid who were lovely to meet. Arturo and Alex were the funniest bartenders. The resort was beautiful and my room was comfy! I can’t wait to come back.

AMAZING YOGA EXPERIENCE AT FIVES BEACH RESORT WITH SHANE ROBINS
Let me begin with sending praise for the staff and culinary dept of the Fives Beach resort. Start to finish the experience was impeccable. The beach was everything you could imagine and more but the standout experience was the fitness and spa offerings. I'm a long time yogi and practice 5 times per week. Normally these resorts have a lack luster approach to the attention to detail for fitness classes. You will find the towel boy now running a pilates fitness class or your waiter from the night before trying to teach yoga but not at the Fives Beach resort. I understand the resort has to wear many hats but this is a specific skill set that requires knowledge and years of training. The fives had a guest yoga instructor named Shane Robins who was actually in teaching for three weeks from Canada. One of the best yoga teachers Ive experienced over the past 30 years of developing my practice. I normally dont even bother to go to the classes after many other resorts have been quite a let down on the fitness classes front. The rooftop location where they practiced sunrise yoga was like a post card. Shane our teacher opted not to play music and asked if it were ok that we just have the Ocean sounds be the soundtrack to lead the practice. Natures soundtrack.......I will definitely be back to the Fives and loved every aspect of the experience. Matthew Reardon Lake Tahoe

Yoga with Shane
Stayed from Feb 1 - 8th, 2025. Weather was wonderful, food and service was amazing. The best way to start the day was doing Yoga with Shane, a very friendly, smiling and knowledgeable lady, was able to modify the program to suit those of us that had mobility issues and still felt very much included. She was very inspiring and made her participants feel very welcome.

Pros: the property is well maintained and visually appealing, staff is friendly and helpful, the food was great compared to other all inclusives I visited, and I really enjoyed the jungle boardwalk. There is also a well heated adults only pool that was so nice. Cons: the pool bars were all understaffed and it took a long time to get a drink. There were regularly 10+ people in line with one bartender. At certain pools there was one bartender and no wait staff, so the bartender would have to go get ice, collect the cups, etc and that meant there was no one behind the bar for 15+ minutes at a time. The lunch options also had really long lines, 20+ minutes for pizza or burger with another 20 minutes to get a drink. OTHER INFO: All pools were constantly playing slow/relaxing music so there was no energy, no pool games, no hype staff. There are at least 4 pools here so it would be great if one of them could be a more high energy experience while leaving others to a more relaxing quiet vibe. The shows were smaller productions in outdoor areas with limited seating. They had 56 chairs set up for the illusionist. Another night was a mariachi band, another was a DJ. There were no big stage shows like we have enjoyed at other resorts. It's a fairly big property so there are golf carts to shuttle you. We didn't use them because we enjoyed the ten minute walk to the beach, but just know that if you can't or don't want to walk you will need to wait at shuttle stops for up to 15 minutes. Overall you will like this place if a more relaxing vibe with great food is what you want. If you are seeking pool fun and exciting shows, this is not that.

Stayed here for wedding with 50 people
We were here for 5 nights January 29th and I was pleasantly surprised! I had my room block here for my wedding and we had about 50 people staying there (about 15 rooms). Overall the hotel is beautiful and everyone raved about the food being really good (which is the main reason I chose this hotel). I loved seeing all the wild life and plants everywhere. Lots of pools to choose from, including the adults only thats warmer temperature. My biggest fear was restaurant wait time because of reviews I had seen but not one person had issues with this so not sure what everyone complains about? We had a mix of early dinner eaters and late ones so maybe 7 pm is hell time and no one ever did that? Or maybe hotel wasn't at full capacity but glad we didn’t have any Issues. Only thing was that maybe 5 people had to switch rooms. Some due to quality, some because they didn’t fulfill their queen/vs individual bed request. Seems like this is the only real “issue” with quality not being consistent but everyone’s issues were resolved in the end which is what matters! They also assigned my room to my brother on accident (same last name) and he walked into my room lol which then disconnected my key…that happened at a bad time when i needed to get into my room so it was irritating but oh well. He complained and they upgraded his room right away. We had a welcome party the night before our wedding (got married outside the resort), and it was a great event! Daniela was our coordinator and she was so great! Once we got in contact to plan the event with her she was extremely responsive (which most of the time is rare at all inclusives), and she was always really helpful with everything regarding the event. Once we checked in she came to our room to introduce herself and give me her whatsapp in case I needed anything. The event was 2 hours by the beach and the service and finger foods were great, everyone had an amazing time. Overall I would return here because for the price the food and hotel grounds/multiple pools were def worth it for us. The food was amazing compared to other AI’s in this price range! The staff was also all very nice and walking wasn’t an issue for us since we’re from NYC lol but the shuttles were great at picking people up (all the guys that drive them are super nice and personable). I will say entertainment wise it’s a little more quiet and not a huge party hotel with clubs and all that but we still had our fun!!!
