OK for a short stay.
Nothing special about this Hotel! It was clean and met our needs. There are very few amenities being offered. I asked for bathrobes as the room did not have any and as such, they were duly delivered to me. Bathroom was very small. Beds comfortable. We were fortunate to have been assigned a corner room with 2 windows. The safe was also not working correctly, and on check out, I noted this to the registration clerk at the desk. The location is fair, but other than that, this hotel is not too executive. It was reasonably priced.

Fantastic, no notes
I'm garbage with paperless check-ins and such and was anticipating struggling through the process, but no. Immediately when I walked in, staff saw to me with genuine warmth and welcome. The concierge, Isela, was so incredibly helpful and I had none of the difficulty I usually have with paperless processes thanks to her. I was exhausted from travel and she made sure I knew everything I needed. Just 10/10 staff. When I got to my room, it smelled so good- not that chemical smell of carpet cleaner, but like-- laundry and an airy scent. Sooo relaxing! Room was clean, well-lit, and comfortable. Best hotel experience I've had for this price, ever.

Executive Pacific Hotel
Samir is awesome. Thank you for the discounted price. All of the staff here are very friendly with nice smiles on their faces. Great location downtown near many places and restaurants. Seattle public library right across the street. Nice customer service.

Small room, good location
My adult son and I stayed two nights at the Executive Hotel Pacific as we were in Seattle to see a Seattle Kraken game. We paid the equivalent of about US$224 (total for two nights, including taxes) for a Superior Double Room, booking through Expedia just two days in advance. Check-in at the hotel is automated through kiosks in the lobby. While ultimately the process was quick and relatively simple (and a staff member actually did it for me), the initial communication and online processing was a bit confusing. Initially, I was instructed (by email) to do a pre-check in and use the Virdee mobile app to access my room. Later, I was instructed to do another pre-check in and download the Flexipass app to access my room. The Flexipass asked for a code that I was never provided. The Virdee app generated a QR code that the hotel staff member used to generate physical cards from the lobby kiosk. In all, I received six emails from the hotel (not counting the original registration confirmation email and duplicate text messages), each providing separate instructions on how to “skip the line” to access my room. Our room was small. There was enough room to stand between the two beds. There was not enough room to stand sideways between the outer bed and the window wall, or between the inner bed and the bathroom wall (in fact, there was not enough room to stand sideways next to the bathroom wall). To get to the window, you almost had to climb over the corner of the foot of the bed. The room had a flatscreen TV and a bar fridge, but really nowhere to put clothes. There was a small, “cubby” area near the door with a coat rack and four hangers and some slots to put a few small things. You wouldn’t want to be staying here with a regular suitcase. The bathroom was small, with two more cubby-like squares, but no where to open up a toiletries bag (other than balancing it on the narrow rim of the sink). The water pressure and volume in the shower were excellent (possibly the best thing about the room). I appreciate the building is old and likely divided based on early 20th century standards of comfort and convenience, although it is a choice not to renovate and keep the rooms as small as they are. The wifi was fine when connected. However, it required a manual reconnect pretty much any time we paused use. It wasn’t a big deal, but on most wifi systems, once you have connected once, your device will automatically reconnect the next time you go to use it (whether you have left the building and come back, or whether you’ve gone to sleep and woken up the next morning). That wasn’t the case here. One item we take issue with is that the hotel is described as having a “business center”. My son had a video call scheduled for 30 minutes after check-out (lasting for one hour), so we specifically chose a property whose listed amenities included a business center. I think most people would understand “business center” to mean an accessible, yet semi-private area suitable for working, with desks, workstations or cubicles). On arrival, we were disappointed to find no such facility. He made do with the upper reception lobby, which was wide open, offered little privacy, had music piped in through the ceiling, and was subject to regular foot traffic. The hotel is very well situated with easy access to all of Seattle’s attractions. It is about a half mile from Pioneer Square and, similarly, a half mile from Pike Place Market. It is a short walk to the Monorail, which provides easy access to Seattle Center, the Space Needle and Climate Pledge Arena. On our second night, I was awoken just before 1am by a group of guests carrying on loudly in the hallway. They continued into the room next door and I was disappointed to realize that I was going to have to listen to them continuing their high-volume antics because the walls did little to buffer the sound. I appreciate that there is little the hotel can do about inconsiderate guest behaviour. On the other hand, I did wonder whether the lack of actual staff in and around the lobby (due to the automated kiosk approach) left the less-thoughtful guests with the sense that it was a free-for-all, rather than a place where the normal rules of good behaviour should apply. We opted not to park our car at the hotel for their US$45 nightly fee (which I assume was before taxes). The garage at Second and Union cost only $68 for two nights and is an easy walk a couple blocks away. I appreciate that parking rates are high in the city. However, I don’t get why a hotel would charge more for parking than I can get on my own nearby. The Executive Hotel pacific is not in the top 5% of places I have stayed (i.e., 5-out-of 5 rating) and of the remainder, it is not in the top third either. The price was fine, but the rest of the stay was very average. It was so average that even if I could rate this as either 2.5 or 3.5 (out of 5), I would still give it a 3. I would be willing to stay here again for the same rate, but I would likely look around a bit and see if I could get a little more for my money next time.
