Good
The service is amazing especially the worker bell. Breakfast was good with but expensive with no other place in walking distance. The lunch and dinner was very yummy. The beach is the best part with no arguing over seats and food on beach. Plenty of space and very soft sand.

The Don
Our stay was awesome. Everyone at the Don was kind and friendly and attentive. It is a great hotel and beach. The beach team especially Van was incredible! We will be back. The room and the view were fantastic. It is a family friendly resort. The style and architecture and devote were top notch.

amazing experience
We received amazing service throughout our whole stay. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and pool area. The food and drinks were great also. The hotel was under some renovations but it did not disrupt our stay or our awesome views. We plan to return soon.

2025 Easter Dinner disappointing
My sister and mom took us to The Don to celebrate both Easter and our 40th anniversary, which made the occasion feel really special. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations. We were genuinely disappointed by the quality of the food — it was surprisingly poor. That said, our waitress was truly amazing, and the dessert was a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming meal. It’s disappointing to have spent over $500 on what should have been a memorable celebration, only to walk away feeling let down.

Overrated
I’d heard great things about this legendary hotel. The reality was different. Yes - stunning beach, sunset, but beyond that, the rooms are tiny, the pool not heated and packed, drilling all day, one huge line for coffee, no washing machine, no water between 12-6, a valet circus. If you’re charging $740 / night, pls take care of the basics.
