This resort is one of my all time favorites and would highly recommend. The outside bartender, Alfredo Pech, is the best! I spent my birthday here and he made me and my partner feel like VIPs every time we came to him. THANK YOU ALFREDO for making this the best birthday ever <3!!

We love Temptation
So glad to be back in our happy spot in Cancun. We are forever grateful for the great service we always get from Khris Jones at Sutra, Alberto at the breakfast buffet and we love Shadia as a Premiere Butler. I was very impressed this trip with how amazing security was. It was the best I'd ever seen it. The place looks amazing with all the fresh painting that was taking place. The maid service was top notch. Excellent playmakers!! The only thing I'd change is the daytime games and music are getting old at this point, I think it's time to change them up a bit. Otherwise a fantastic trip

Nov 19, 2024Second home (with some problems this time)
After trip number 12 to our second home the Temptation Resort… we are back home. This time we stayed 14 days. It continues to be a great party resort for people of all ages with a naughty side. The food at lunch&Dinner fluctuates between average and good. Breakfast is good, especially at seaflirt Restaurant. This time, unfortunately, there was one thing that got worse. This hotel lives from its special vibe. I haven't found anything comparable so far. In the past, this was mainly due to the playmakers and the entertainment. Unfortunately, they are not as good as they used to be. The only ones who bring the atmosphere when they're on the mic for the main games: JJ, Pretty Boy (and Cowboy is getting better and better). They prefer to talk to each other rather than to guests. They forget to play games that are on the time schedule. If it is on the time schedule play it or doesn’t put it on the schedule. During 14 days they forgot to play the 4 o'clock game (Beerpong or tequila Jenga) 12 times. A lot of them seem unmotivated, but maybe cause of new rules… For example one of them has to stay every day between 9-11am in the lobby. For what? It makes no sense. In a nutshell: They have become completely interchangeable and some of the guests are better entertainers. In my openion (I don’t know who) is setting wrong priorities for the Playmakers. We need entertainers, not only Dancers. And the Halloween costume was a complete joke compared to previous years. After an hour, everyone's make-up was ruined during the day. If TheRock (former Playmaker) had seen this, he would have drowned himself in the pool. I asked many members and 99% had the same opinion Hopefully the hotel will also recognize the problem. Many great employees have left the hotel recently. Something doesn't seems right at the moment, and that is why we give only three stars (first time). Annual vacation to Temptation
Hotel is very clean. Staff is very welcoming. Food is average. Not your five star restaurants but this isn't a five star hotel. Restaurants can be a little loud due to large groups. The staff we would recommend are: Vanessa our Premier butler, Alberto, waiter at the buffet, Geny, the Premier Hostess, Anna our room attendant and Manuel, water sports staff. Guest services staff are top notch. Music tends to be very loud at times at the pool and the DJ at night plays a lot of the same music. The theme nights are great especially if you like to participate. Drinks are pretty good although they did away with our favorite beer, Dos Equis. They now only have Corona and Corona light. The cleaning is always on top of cleaning. We stayed in the Towers which are bigger rooms. Only downside is the music from the Bash (night club) tends to be a little loud. You'll probably need earplugs which they supplied. If you go make sure there isn't a takeover group scheduled as they appear to have the run of the hotel and you're on the outside looking in.

Repetitive Unique Experience
My husband and I just got back from our 15th time at this resort. Although we liked the older resort compared to the renovated one, we still had a good time. We do go with a group of heterosexual couples that are not in the "lifestyle ". This never has been a problem. Thanks to two of the couples who "bought in" to the resort until past, the group was able to get reservations to all the restaurants all week. Food: It has gone downhill. I am a picky eater though. The taste just wasn't there. Portions are tiny, not small in most of the restaurants. Late night buffet is very good. Activities: Of course, the playmakers get everyone to have fun. They work hard every day no matter what area of the resort they are in. The music by the pool and in "Bash" is so loud you have to almost scream to talk to each other but it is great dancing music. A guy from our group was requesting many rock songs during the day. The DJ was granting all of his requests. Pool: Expect to see many vain topless women taking selfies of themselves or men stroking their significant others making sure everyone knows they are theirs. Vanity is everywhere at this resort. 80% of the women wear things too. There is the small percentage of women who are just there to have fun and don't give a crap what they look like. Pool games are very sexual. This is every day. If your eyes can't take it or your ears don't want to hear it, this is not the resort for you. And if you want cooler water, hit the quiet pool sometimes. Bell Service: They aim to please. Everyone in this department is excellent. Front desk check in and check out reps were wonderfu! Quick and easy check-in and check- out. Try not to get pulled into the timeshare meetings for too long. If you do want to "purchase" a contract, please read every sentence so that you know you aren't getting ripped off. Rooms: Beds are comfortable. Closet doors are terrible! But Elizabeth was our housekeeper. Absolutely amazing. Our room was cleaned twice a day and water was plentiful as was our towels. That whole department deserves to be commended. Beach: Small but serves the purpose. Gym: Clean and numerous machines. The End.
