2 weeks stay on a business trip
Best place to be just after landing on the Island. Thumbs up to everyone who works here, how effortlessly they make you feel at home, loved the hospitality, special mention to Ella, for always making sure the stay is as comfortable as it ever be. The location is ideal for everyone to get to explore the 7mile beach. The facilities are great, with the chance to prepare your own home cooked meals and the restaurant food is nice.

Good location
This was advertised as a 4* hotel which it is not in my personal opinion. That said it is in a great location and you can use the facilities of the Westin a 5 minute walk away. Staff very very welcoming and the housekeeping was excellent. The rooms need upgraded and ours was damp with a horrible damp smell. I felt the US$35 resort fee per night was very high for what it entitles you to. None of this spoiled our stay though we had a great time.

A good stay but proceed with caution
What other travelers are saying is correct: the rooms are dated, damp and mildewy. But it was nice to have a kitchenette and the bed was quite comfortable. You can’t beat the price and the location. The strip of Seven Mile Beach that the Westin is on is the most beautiful and it was so nice to spend our days there. The pool area at SS suites is cute but we never ate at the restaurant. If you have high expectations, high standards and are high maintenance, this is not the place for you. I stayed here with a friend and would add that I wouldn't stay here with my boyfriend - nothing romantic about it.

Run away fast!
Resort really? What a dump from the rooms to the deep pot holes all over the parking lot never mind all the hidden fees that they don't tell you about until you check in. This is anything but a bargain. Looks like they are refacing the outside of the one building but that will be just lipstick on a pig as the rooms look like they are right out of the 80's mold and all. The staff were clearly turned off likely from the barrage of complaints they must get from horrified guests at the conditions that they have no control to fix. Obviously the owners have a "profit at all cost/ get their money once" motto because certainly if you have stayed here you are never coming back.

yuck
yucky yuck yuck! this room is horrible, ugly and so dated. i’m sad to be here. on a more positive note it is centrally located and hasaccess to the Westin across the street. however nice the Westin is, it is busy with loads of people. personally, I wouldn’t stay here ever again, but to each their own.
