Great place to stay!
The staff at Sundial were so friendly and helpful! We loved the ski valet service (free!) and the staff there helped us figure out how to get to the other side of the mountain so we didn't have to pay for a cab. The front desk person was super friendly and she helped us with anything we asked for. The room itself had a kitchenette, with coffee included, which was a pleasant surprise. Just felt the whole stay exceeded our expectations! We also loved the location being near the Canyon gondolas on the mountain!

We’ll be back - again
Location, location, location. The best possible location at the bottom of the canyons resort area. We had a one bedroom apartment. Perfectly fine - could do with a renovation but it was solid, very clean and everything was in working order. Ski lounge/valet is very convenient. It was our second time her and we’ll be back.

Great Location, Disappointing Communication on Ski Patrol Strike
Would love to give the resort a higher rating but when you arrive for a ski trip to find out that the ski patrol is on strike is unacceptable. I would think a little bit of communication with customers would have gone a long way. When the gondola wait is two hours and then when you get to the lifts up the mountain are down that is unacceptable for a family that was going to Park City to ski. The location was great as the gondola is on-site. The room was decent except that the water temperature and pressure in the master suite was not great making it almost unusable especially when the water was cold.

Horrible experience
We booked on Booking.com paid in full with all taxes and fees. Communication was horrible never got a reply from them on a few questions before showing up. Went to check in for first night , sent us to another condo for check in , we had a uber so it was very frustration to be going back and forth. Bed were not made and not enough blankets. Call to have a late check out and was told by the gal that we could and she would not charge us. Well we got home and was charge 50.00 for late check out and also resort fees were charged again! Call them and talk to 3 people Barbera,Ben and Josh who was very rude! Would not help! Will never book with them again .

Mixed Bag at the Sundial
It pains me to write this belated review. I've been a long time guest at the Sundial both in winter and summer. In the past my family and I have been treated well, had great rooms and had wonderful experiences. Trent at the front desk has always been a standout for service. My most recent attempted stay was horrendous. When we arrived our room wasn't ready. We opted to walk across the plaza for a quick bite. Four hours later we arrived to a room that clearly hadn't been cleaned. I had the misfortune of dealing with an obviously drunk (or high) front desk agent named Josh. He couldn't give us a decent explanation or solution for the dirty room. He was incredibly rude in his inebriated state and left my sister in tears with his aggressive behavior. We opted to stay at the Pendry instead of dealing with Josh's disgusting behavior. He claimed to be the GM, Vail would be well served to replace him with someone professional without substance issues/use while on the job. I hope any future attempts to stay will be like our previous stays where we had clean rooms, nice views and great service.
