Jan 13, 2025Fab Experience in this budget hotel!
I stayed here for 1 week during the first week in December 2024. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The hotel room was extremely spacious, the beds comfy. he room was serviced and when I asked for extra towels etc they were brought to us without delay. The local Art bus picks you up at the door practically and drops you right off at Disneyland. We bought a 5 day pass which was 25.00 dollars per adult and can jump on and off the bus daily. There is an app that you download so easy to use. I went to the local outlets and supermarket and used Uber no problem and less than 12 dollars each way. There is a restaurant onsite which met our needs had a great burger and staff were lovely. We used Uber eats also. There is no restaurants to walk to but are only a short ride away. The hotel has a coffee bar in the morning, coffee is lovely and served by a lovely lady. Wish I remembered her name as she gets a huge thumbs up from me. Front staff were welcoming and friendly and answered questions without any difficulty. In room there a coffee machine and microwave and WIFI which is free. The only gripe if I had one would be that the aircon was very noisy. I would recommend this hotel it suited our budget and I would definitely stay again if I returned. I had no difficulty getting around from this location. Overall this hotel gets a big thumbs up from me and I will hopefully be back some time in the future.

Front of house Staff and food were the only positive part of our stay, unfortunately the room we had smelt like pot, the shower hardly worked and a wheel was stolen off our rental car, management never even bothered to contact us to see if we required any assistance .

So disappointing we left. Not a good choice for Disney.
We booked through a Disney travel specialist because this was listed as a 'Good neighbor' hotel. After a couple of hours, we checked out & went elsewhere. First, it's noisy next to a highway with a very loud old air conditioner and a TV that didn't work. There is nowhere convenient to eat besides the Burger Place where we had a terrible experience. They were extremely slow, ignored us, and got the food orders wrong. We didn't trust them to offer breakfast & get us to Disney promptly in the morning. It would be a 40 minute walk to the Disney or a bus costing $6 per person, making a ride-share cheaper. There are many hotels much closer. We are frequent visitors to Walt Disney World resorts, and by comparison the service did not come even close to our expectations. If visiting Disney, absolutely do not stay here.

Had a wonderful stay at Sonesta Anaheim. It was a well maintained hotel, with great people working there. Thanks to Ichel for her help, she made our stay. The rooms are fine, good beds, good pillows. Small coffee machine and good size mini fridge. Close to Disneyland, the bus that picks up is a city run bus so it takes about 20 minutes to get to Disneyland but it's convenient.

Great hotel!
The hotel was very clean and well kept. I told the front desk I was there as a birthday present to myself so they gave me a gift bag with some treats and bottled water. It was a very sweet gesture! They also changed my room from two queen beds to one king. There is a shuttle stop right outside the hotel which makes it very easy to get to Disney. If I go to Disneyland again I will definitely stay at this hotel.
