Don't Expect and Epic Trip
We were there early 2025. Fireplace in living room did not work, reported it but was never fixed. One lamp was completely broken as well but was not fixed either. We won't be back to Park City Mountain or a Vail Resort / Epic resort next year based upon on experience this year.

"Okay" at best, will not return to in present state
Went with a ski club group. Sauna, Elevator, Handicap Doors - never worked and no resolution dates provided. No slippers or robes provided to get to the hot tub (decent walk across concrete) and the outdoor furniture is not cleared of snow after a snowfall. Everyone has to use the one elevator that works on the Lobby floor regardless of where room is located and it's not that big - especially after you find your own cart in the garage to load your luggage on. The one working elevator broke down and had to walk up stairs (no one seemed to know why the second elevator never worked?). The 2 adjacent elevators in Building 2 work independently - so always hit both elevator buttons to call an elevator. It has been under a new renovation, but seems that with so much still not working - it's not done yet. It is NOT ski in/out regardless of what Google and AI say - it's all uphill to the lifts and IMHO too far to walk in ski gear. Transit buses are the only real option and were reliable. It's not really set up for groups compared to other places stayed (no online check-in, Trip Leader could not sign everyone in, even with providing a credit card). For single unit rentals, check-in is fine. I'd recommending staying in Building 1 as Building 2 is a pain in the butt to get to/from. Front staff and hospitality workers were very nice. Don't stay on 5th floor (Building 1) if you're a light sleeper, as you will hear the HVAC(s)? turn on throughout the night.

Not again
Not Worth the Price- Would give a Zero for this trip if I could. Stayed Dec. 27-Jan 2, 2025. Vail Reservations told us this property was a ski-in, ski-out resort with mountain views, but the experience was far from what was promised: Misleading Advertising: Told Ski-in, ski-out. Not even close. It required a shuttle ride or a three-football-field length uphill walk. Mountain view? Our "view" was a parking lot (Room 235ABC) on one side and the loud pool on the other. We moved our guests that were on the sofa bed to the Best Western Plus so they could sleep without noise or headlights in their faces at 5am! The parking lot was for employees it seems and they arrive early. I have pictures and video! Terrible. Comfort and Convenience Issues: Sleeper sofa was unbearable—so bad we had to send some of our group to a nearby Best Western. It also was not made up upon arrival as requested and the linens for it were minimal and not thick for the weather. Barely a sheet. Elevator outages caused major inconvenience, especially for older guests. No phone in the room to contact the front desk. Keys worked only for one day, necessitating frequent trips to the lobby in ski boots. Property Management and Amenities: Staff seemed uninformed about property details, shuttle options, and local dining. Fireplace in the lobby wasn’t turned on despite it being functional. TVs went out repeatedly, and there was no communication about amenities or room provisions beforehand. No hot water!!! We lost hot water so many times. So many freezing showers. The building was having major issues. Value for Money: For the price, we expected much more. The Best Western Plus, where some of our group stayed, offered better service, included food, and was far more affordable. Positives: Ski valet service at lodge was great. Grocery Girls delivered groceries to the room before our arrival, which was nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Lodge felt safe. It was supposedly booked solid but we rarely saw people...except for the pool crowds. Of note, the pool is in a courtyard, so the sound really carries. Overall, the property felt unfinished (e.g., visible construction materials in the lobby), lacked basic comforts, and failed to deliver the high-end experience expected in a resort area. The fitness center was subpar. Of note, when I called in after our visit to have the wrong charges corrected, I spoke to the reservation agent who booked us about the ski-in and ski-out issue. I asked her if she had even seen the property in person. She had not. She said they do virtual training. So they are given false talking points to rent the rooms. I was literally told this room was walking distance to the town lift in Park City. NOPE! We were on the complete other side of the mountain.

Home away from home
Fantastic resort…..beautiful updated clean rooms reasonably priced. Staff was very courteous and helpful…loved the inroom amenities. Full kitchen was equipped with complete appliances and anything needed to fix meals if so desired…coffee maker worked well and the supply of coffee was great…I especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from the outdoor patio with cute table and chairs. Very relaxing area

Looks good online, horrible experience in reality. Probably the worst travel experience we've had!
Sounded good on paper(and online). Check in process made everything sound great. No mention of the entire place being under construction, or the fact that the AC system is not working at all, or that they were taking a $200 deposit that I still haven't gotten back almost a week later. We had to deal with a maintenance person installing a portable A/C unit while we were trying to get ready in our room since it was 85 degrees in the room. The unit only cooled our room down to 73 by the next morning and it quickly rise into the high 70s even with the unit buy the time were were gratefully checking out. After sharing our experience with the front desk upon leaving, we were basically dismissed, and told we should come back in a month or two and give them another chance! No effort to address our concerns, so we're posting them here to help others before they book here. We have never left another bad review in all our traveling, but this experience was not fun, even trying to get our deposit back.
