    4-star review

Very happy with the room and the amenities. Parking garage was conveniently located adjacent to the property. Will plan to stay there next time we visit Reno. Also, very much enjoyed the day trip to Virginia city. Gordon Ramsey cafe was an excellent choice for lunch.

    Wonderful stay!

We checked out of the Harrah's in Tahoe due to dirty rooms and poor service and we went to the Silver Legacy. Soooooo glad we did!! Friendly and attentive staff, spacious rooms, large bathrooms, very clean. The casino staff is very friendly! Great dining options and wonderful location.' The quality of the hotel for the price is quite remarkable. Great gym and spa as well! Highly recommend for a great stay in Reno!

    Accommodation requests not met

My husband and I were traveling with my elderly parents. I requested in advance to have rooms close together and close to the elevator. Silver Legacy did not accommodate either request. We were on different floors and at least 50 yards from the elevator, definitely not ideal for someone with mobility issues!

Worst hotel experience of my life.

Initially didn't start out on the best of circumstances when trying to "self check-in" at one of their several auto "self check-in" kiosks. The kiosk wouldn't accept my confirmation # and couldn't find my reservation by using my DL card. With no employee around to assist, it took the 4th try to get it done. Staying here for 5 days, the 2nd day really set the tone for the rest of the stay. My room was situated on the 5th floor. As it turns out, the elevators that go up to that floor have all broken down so that the ONLY way to get to my room that day was to try and catch a Security guard to let me ride up the employee elevator up. Going back down was worse because I'd have to use the stairs and would end up outside since the door to the casino floor were locked. After 4 hours, I've finally had enough of either being stuck downstairs or stuck in my room, a concierge made a move to have my room transferred to a floor of my choosing. I'm glad I did as the next couple of days the lines to all the elevators have been at least 10+ deep. From there it's been all little incidences after little incidences that pile up into one large inconvenience. No complimentary water bottles in the room. Getting complimentary water on the gaming floor has revealed how rude the staff can get. A family member of mine was accused of stealing from a slot machine she didn't play by an employee and was "ordered to stay and wait for Security" who never came, were never called and the employee never even offered up an apology. Broken escalators that force you to walk around the property to find a way up/down, broken machines that the play button doesn't work and broken and a broken down worn out staff just proves this property needs a major overhaul top to bottom as it feels like the Owners just want to collect your gambling losses rather than invest into a rewarding Caesar's property experience. Will NEVER stay here again.

    Annoying

The rooms had paint chipped away on the door jams to both bathrooms I experienced (I stayed two more days and changed rooms). Housekeeping was good. The pit bosses and all but one of the dealers were great, very helpful and polite. One dealer, graveyard timeframe Carmen, was rude and argumentative. Instead of playing for another 3-5 hours her attitude made me want to leave. So I left after cashing out. One of the more annoying issues I encountered was the wrestling teams staying at the hotel. It took 25 minutes just to get in the elevator at one point. Then more time stopping at almost every floor to let them out. Logistically a better plan could’ve been in place.
