OUTSTANDING!
Excellent Stay! The new lobby renovation is awesome! The room was immaculate and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful! The adjoining City Walk offered a safe and comfortable area to get a good walk in and see people enjoying the new skatepark and pickleball courts!

Best customer service at a hotel
Booked here because it is next to Legacy Arena where we were watching the Sweet Sixteen. It was a great hotel. Staff were so very nice, each and everyone of them. Wonderful customer service. Rooms were clean, bed was great. Nice breakfast selection off the lobby area. Easy walk to some great restaurants, the Art Museum, the Sports Museum, Protective Stadium and Legacy Arena.

Worst hotel experience. Over $2,000 for 6 days.
March Madness was great. Hotel stay was terrible. Multiple calls and requests for service but nothing. No housekeeping for 3 days. No towels, water, coffee pods, paper products. Room has no safe or microwave, tv has no guide or channel list. $29 daily self park five minutes away and pass doesn’t work. Sink clogged for three days. Bed was fine and room quiet since the place was empty. I’m done with Sheraton.

Great uptown location, but also close to freeway
Stayed 1 night. Valet and check in was both very easy. There was some construction on the hotel, but this did not bother me. Room was ok, but there was noice from the interstate. I still had a good night sleep. The location was a little bit further away from the civil rights locations. But close to some great restaurants, wich was close and safe enough to walk by myself in the early evening dark hours. Bartender was friendly and gave good advice about where to eat

Great Location and Under Renovation!
First and foremost, we are a fan and loyal member of Marriott Bonvoy; however amidst the interior renovation and exterior construction surrounding this particular Sheraton property in Birmingham it is a suggestion to update the list of amenities available. Over our past couple of stays the amenities available in our rooms have been hit and miss - microwaves, refrigeration unit lacking; ice maker on some floors but not all; room decor and quality have been average and mismatched; cleanliness could be better; is it a recent policy to have housekeeping knock in the morning to offer reminders of the check-out time; funny incident but during our last stay we had an another guest open our door with her key and walk into our room. The staff and customer service have been wonderful and do meet the Marriott Bonvoy standard, in particular the employees working at the Coffee Shop. Special note of appreciation to the young man working the evening shift on Friday, 17 Jan, we’d like to thank him for his restaurant suggestions and advice for things to do in the city over the weekend.
