My time at Bonvoy Properties is coming to a quick end.
Avoid! My review on the Bonvoy site was clear and concise and my reply was from AI. I even had to go out of my way to to claiim my points. As of right now I am still owed for two nights in Ontario and the end of October. This itself seems to be a new trend.

This hotel is a huge maze. Nothing is close inside the hotel.
The hotel is so huge that it takes a very long time to walk from valet to my room. I am old, I am fat, and I travel with a ton of business gear. I want to easily access my room, not have to think about how to get thru a maze. Try to find the 3rd floor from the main building. The elevators dont have a #3, you need to go to another building and another set of elevators to access the 3rd floor. The bar is very cool atmosphere. The location is close to the stadium and all of the uptown restaurants.

Incompetent
This hotel is complete garbage! 1. Tv doesn’t work. Sent some smelly curmudgeon to fix the A/C. * Never got it working. 2. No card swipe on the elevator but goes out of their way to refuse DoorDash delivery. 3. Valet lost my car. Took over 90 mins. Missed my first meeting and late for the rest. 4. Asked to speak with a manager…no one on duty (of course). 5. Asked for a call back, never got one. And to top it all off, they don’t ever put out coffee in the morning! Complete incompetence!

wonderful stay!! don't worry about renovations. beautiful place and people
What a wonderful stay. I was a little skittish because I saw the reviews but I will tell you this place is under renovation in a way that did not bother me at all. Neither did the highway noise. From the moment I arrived after a late flight to the moment I left, I was treated kindly and the room felt brand new. I loved seeing the young people skateboarding under the highway in the skateboard park, too. You hear so many sad stories but here was a picture of absolute joy. Thank you, Aidshatu (means "full of life"), John, the valet, and Davon at the bar, and Khalil (morning valet) for being so kind. If I get in late and stay in Birmingham because I don't drive well at night alone, I will definitely consider returning here! PS $39 for parking was dear. Can you bring the price down just a little?

Highway Noise
I do not do reviews, but felt to do so now. The highway noise from my room is intolerable. The only reason I did not give this a lower rating is because my room is lovely and the bartenders are beyond amazing. Get better sound proof windows and this will be a great hotel. —- Lifetime Platimum
