The hotel is very nice and centrally located, within walking distance to other restaurants and close to the flea market. The staff was very attentive, The food was good. We liked the breakfast restaurant and our server Sergio Diaz, who looked out for us each morning, remembered what we liked to eat and made sure that we were well fed and taken care of, he was funny and very nice. We had a butler also, who was our go to guy, whose name is Jose Becerra, he also took care of us. Alejandro Haro and Fernando Ruiz were also workers with whom we interacted on a regular basis and wo went out of their way to ensure that we had a good experience. It was one of our best vacations and one of our best Secrets experiences, we have stayed in a few of them. We were there for 9 days and totally enjoyed our stay. The one drawback was the fact that the hotels are located on different levels and it took a few days to get the gist of what floor we were on and so on. There is one elevator in the main building, which gets backed up at times at the adjoining hotel were most of the entertainment and meals were at night. The families with strollers would line up to go up and down the floors, because of this situation. Often we would take the stairs so they could use the elevator with their strollers. Entertainment was fine, and the outdoor area, pool and beach areas were enjoyable. Overall a good experience and we would certainly return.

Wow! This place is awesome. From the food to the views to the service and all the activities, it was such a fun trip. The proximity to Puerto Vallarta is unique among all inclusives and we took full advantage of being able to walk into town for excursions and to see all the public art and lively neighborhoods. Had we wanted to stay on the resort the whole time, that would have worked, too, since there were so many fun activities to take part in including water aerobics, yoga, beach volleyball, kayaking, zumba lessons, cooking lessons, cocktail making classes and more. The staff at Secrets are 100% amazing, providing top-notch service from bringing drinks by the pool to helping me find my lost water bottle. We also happened to go during whale migration season and HOLY COW there were a lot of whales to see without even leaving the resort. Perfect place for a friend trip, I'll be back!!!

Secrets Vallarta Bay was a beautiful resort. We were surprised that Dreams was attached and they could easily utilize our resort. I had a terrific yoga instructor named Susan from Illinois. The food was amazing. Live entertainment in the lobby bar was some of the best we've seen. Nightly shows were ok.

Nice resort, good food and great staff. Beautiful views and convenient location. The mattress was very hard and caused my hips to ache. They had live entertainment which was good but it went until 11:00 every night. That’s a bit late for many of us. If we were to return I’d request a room far from the music.

Javier in Himitsu makes the best Spanish coffee I have ever had. I recommend trying it. Omar was our pool waiter and provided friendly and efficient service. Our week there was cool and overcast, but we enjoyed our stay. Seeing whales from the beach and on the way to Rhythm of the Night was a highlight
