Very nice location and facility. Beautiful beach. Good food. Average service. Very little music - the music that was playing is no good. Felt like an elevator playlist. Too much staff - many on their cell phones or not doing much. No communication between front desk and staff. Paid for late check out but the staff kept asking us if we were leaving soon even though all was settled with front desk to leave later.

Overall the experience was great! George the butler is the best by far. Made our anniversary occasion well worth it! I would definitely upgrade to preferred if you can. Would do preferred club over a swim out suite if you can’t do both. The food was similar to other all inclusives. With a couple meals being stand out!

Birthday/proposal
A 10/10 holiday for my partners 30th birthday, our butler Jonathan and the rest of the staff did a great job to accommodate in making the day more special for us after i mentioned i was going to propose, himself and the staff decorated our room with roses and a bottle of wine and cake The food had variety and decent quality, whilst the bartenders were also very knowledgeable when it came to making us different cocktails each day.

Good overall value despite some less than ideal areas.
Pluses: Large room with comfortable bed and bedding. Large bathroom and shower. Well kept newer property. Plenty of places to get a drink. Friendly staff who tried to be helpful. The drinks were good, though alcohol content was low unless you ordered shots. No bracelets or towel cards is nice. Security was visible and there are cameras everywhere. The pools were beautiful and well kept. No pushy vendors on the beach. Minuses: The food quality was low. The beachside grill was the best of them, but even that wasn't great. The resort thing of reserving chairs by throwing a towel over them is a problem here too. General: This is a long thin property. From the lobby to the beach is quite a walk for older or handicapped individuals. Bathrooms only at the ends seems like an oversight. Despite some negatives, we still felt it was worth the price paid.

Jan 30, 2025A Proposal Undermined by Poor Service – Deeply Disappointed
I had high expectations for this resort, planning a once-in-a-lifetime proposal for my fiancée. I reached out over a month in advance to arrange photography and special details, yet received no response until three days into our trip—far too late to help. Left with no choice, I had to arrange everything last-minute at an exorbitant cost for minimal service. The resort is beautiful and well-decorated, but that’s where the positives end. Marketed as a romantic destination, Secrets Resorts did nothing to make our occasion special. They were happy to take thousands of dollars but offered no effort or accommodation. The language barrier wasn’t the issue—the lack of initiative was. Beyond the proposal disappointment, the experience was underwhelming. Only 3 out of 6 restaurants were worth visiting, and while entertainment was fine, it wasn’t impressive. The one highlight was the drinks, which were consistently good, thanks to great bartenders. Housekeeping was subpar—the room was lightly tidied, but empty glasses and small messes sat untouched for days, even after requesting a refresh. A little more attention would have made a difference. I managed to make the proposal special despite the resort, not because of it. The poor communication, lack of effort, and dismissive service tainted what should have been a joyful experience. If you’re considering this resort, look elsewhere.
