Book it now!
The resort is beautiful, service is great and the location is the best. The water is the prettiest I have ever seen and this is one of the best vacations we have had. We used the city bus to the ferry and visited Isla Mujeres and felt safe the entire time. I was questioning staying in the hotel district but it was an exceptional experience.

Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel, clean, exceptional service. Small portions on food and not the best vegetarian range. Husbands birthday was here but they celebrated with banners on other doors but forgot my husbands which was sad. Overall beautiful hotel

Great stay at Secrets the Vine!0
Our stay at Secrets The Vine was fantastic! This was our first visit to this resort, and we will be back. We were Preferred Club, and were escorted to the PC Lounge within 5 minutes of arrival. Our room was not ready, as we arrived at 9:30am, but Mauricio took great care of us and let us know where we could get a bite to eat. Our Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View was fantastic. The panoramic view of the Ocean and the Lagoon, looking north up the Hotel Zone, was amazing. There was more closet & storage space than we needed, which was nice compared to some other properties we have visited. The room was very spacious, well appointed and we would choose this room category again. The only "oddity" were the lights, a little bit of an adventure, but not a big issue. We ate at Olio, Bluewater Grill, Dragon, The Market cafe, and Sea Salt Grill.... All were very good! We also did room service, after a long day on Isla Mujeres. The steak with fries & Au jus was very good. We spent our days on the lower pool deck, right up at the edge of the beach. The views were great and the service was on point. Honestly we had no major complaints, and will definitely be back!

Amazing customer service, amazing food and drinks, great beach, perfect for couples looking for a quiet get away.
First time in Mexico (Cancun), Stayed at “Secrets The Vine” in the hotel zone of Cancun. Based on extensive research and reviews we booked our vacation feeling confident about our decision. My main highlight to start, food/drinks were amazing, never got sick, no issues etc which is a first for me in comparison to eating at other resorts in Cuba, DR etc. Beach is smaller, but great and intimate, water is amazing, clear, white sands, and you are able to walk the strip if you wanted, sea weed is only an issue when it’s stormy out, but they do clear it daily if required. Service was amazing and the resort was well-staffed in my opinion, they had decent entertainment, but note, this is NOT a party resort, fairly quiet after 10pm once most of the live entertainments shows are over, which was my expectation based on other reviews, this is exactly what we wanted nice quiet experience for a couples retreat. For the reviews that complain about the fireplace in the lobby, and why it’s there making the place hot?, it sets a nice ambience in the lobby, and just simply do not stand next to it if you do not want to be warm, I did not see it as an issue at all while I was there, in fact one of the nights was actually chilly, and it came in handy to huddle next to get warmed up. Over all it has made us want to rebook with our first experience going well.

Great Experience Over All
Great service and people. Room is large and 2-3 times room cleaning services per day which is a surprise:). Food is a bit average, steak from Bluewater grill is great, very tender ribeye. Market cafe has some interesting Mexican food which is worth to try. Dragon the asian restaurant is very salty. Olio is a bit disappointed. Drink is great at all the bars. They didn't fool you with the cheap staffs. Very quiet and a few entertainment during the night. Maybe not the best option for party person.
