    Worth going

Would absolutely go back. Hotel clean. Food was one of the best I have ever had at an all-inclusive. So many options. The staff is top rated very pleasant and fun. Always there to meet your needs. Many options for restaurants and if you just need snacks they have pool side lunch.

    Great resort, expect noise

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort and recommend it. The buffet selection, clean beach and manicured gardens impressed us! I will warn however that the resort is frequented by mostly Americans and they are a loud culture. So expect a lot of noise.

Co co coffee shop - best latte’s

Stayed in this resort and found the coffee shop the best. Love a latte in the morning and couldn’t ask for a better one. Best latte ever. Excellent customer service everyday by Reinaido. You’re the best. Always smiling, greeting you and happy. Thank you ☺️ for making our stay the best!

    The Best Vacation!

6 friends left the bitter cold of Wisconsin to stay 7 days in the preferred section at Secrets. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and meet so many wonderful people, all staff truly made you feel special! The resort is stunning, great views and lots of areas to visit. Our butler Alfredo went above and beyond in everything we asked of him. Always communicating with us each day as to what was happening in the resort and personally finding us to check in. If we get the pleasure to return we will definitely request Alfredo! Spent a lot of time at both the main and preferred pools, all service staff and bartenders were superb. But David (aka Flacco), Argenni, Daniella, Rosa and Jenny always had a smile on their faces and never let your drinks go empty. Rented the Bali bed in the Ocean for one of our friend’s birthdays, and they all made it such a special day! Drinks, lunch, cake and more made this so memorable! The food was the best we have ever experienced at any all inclusive. The buffet was huge, fresh and delicious. Enjoyed all the restaurants with the exception of the Mexican, wouldn’t recommend that one. The entertainment crew bust their tushes everyday and night, putting on some great shows. Shout out to Hot Coffee for his amazing aerobic classes and Him for always finding us with his great smile! Rooms were good, but housekeeping was hit and miss for restocking and turn down. But a request to Alfredo usually took care of that! One minor issue with one room but again was taken care of! Thank you Secrets for a wonderful vacation! Gracias Family! ❤️

    Beautiful resort with awesome service.

This was our 4th trip to secrets royal beach. We are UVC members and love it. UVC reps awesome, we love Jokeyma! • Breakfast staff outside – too many names to list, but everyone was festive, professional, and very accommodating to whatever we needed. o Wilmina – always smiling and makes the best omelets and fried eggs. A great start to the day to see her smiling face. • Pool staff – for drinks, Lady, Widina, and Alta were always right around the corner for whatever we needed. • Barefoot grill – we would be remiss to omit mentioning “Sexy Chef” who makes the best burgers around, always referring us as his sexy family. • Entertainment staff – J.Frozono, Shaggy, and Juan really stood out and were always checking in to make sure we were “todo bien!” • UVC – we have been lucky enough to have Jokeyma as our rep for the past three years, opting to upgrade our membership two of those three times. She is honest, diligent, intelligent, and works tirelessly to make sure she is doing all she can to make it an experience to remember. And she always delivers. It is always nice to reconnect with Gary, the now-Sales Director, whom we worked with when we originally joined UVC at Secrets Cap Cana almost five years ago. • Eddy was the best butler we’ve ever had in the 16 trips we’ve taken with UVC. He checked in daily, fixed any issues (minimal) that we ran into, and was very friendly; you could tell that he takes great pride in what he does. And when Eddy was off for a few days, Marcos jumped in without skipping a beat. We appreciated the seamless transition. • Restaurants – we have no complaints at all about the food. Great selection and very flavorful choices. Very happy with the expanded menu at Himitsu vs. other years; more sushi options, ability to order teppanyaki a la carte, and more appetizer selections too. Salmon at Bluewater was incredibly tender. And you can’t go wrong with Olio; particularly if you lucky enough to have a table facing the ocean like we did. o If we had to choose a place that wasn’t our favorite, it would be Bordeaux. French Onion soup at other resorts is one of our favorites, and it did not stand up to the rest; bread bowl was dry and no crouton/cheese, or even onion…pretty much just onion flavor. The duck confit was also mediocre compared to other Bordeaux restaurants we’ve been to; very fatty and not a lot of meat. The salmon, although admittedly good, was a smaller portion compared to what is offered at Bluewater. o We did have a private dinner (coordinated by the resort and Jokeyma/Eddy) at the wine cellar in Bordeaux and that was incredible; ambiance and staff were second to none. The menu was predetermined, so some of the cuisine was not necessarily to our liking/preference, but we really loved the surf and turf; the lobster was some of the best we’ve ever had. • Lobby staff – Ramona and Brenda were stand-outs for us. They always came up to us with a smile and often our favorite drink(s) in hand without even having to ask. • Nightly shows – this was our fourth time at SRB, so we didn’t watch all the shows again. In the past we loved Queen, but did feel that “Freddy Mercury” this time around wasn’t quite as good as other years. Also, there was no longer a Madonna show, which we were bummed about because we always loved that one. The Rock Show, as always, did not disappoint. • Accommodations – the preferred club room we had was fabulous; facing both the ocean and the pool (building #1). Always clean, and well stocked. Be cautious of the balcony in the event of rain, though. It is sometimes hard to tell that it’s wet and I slipped hard one time hurting my knee/wrist; thankfully at the end of the trip and nothing terrible, but could be bad if I had fallen closer to the tub and/or side of balcony. Cuidado! • Gym – they did a pretty decent overhaul of the gym compared to last year. They added more cardio options (including a couple Peloton bikes). Moses always greeted us with a smile and some early morning encouragement, that was often needed. LOL. We will be back next year.
