Secrets Maroma is an amazing place! My wife and I went for our honeymoon and they treated us so well! All the food places are delicious and the beach is so nice. Everyone at the resort is so nice and my wife and I definitely want to come back! We loved that you get a private concierge that you can text anytime with questions. Our lady was so helpful in making our trip so easy and so fun! Thank you again Secrets Maroma for making my wife and I’s first trip together an amazing one!

Great experience
Excellent service, facilities and food . Great quality and options . Loved bath tub . One suggestion, the beds on the beach block all the ocean views 🙁 many guests complain this looks really bad , because on the top they look old and cheap. Maybe put them on the back with a platform could help .

Great Resort!
We celebrated our 8th anniversary at Secrets and had an amazing experience. The customer service was exceptional, and the hotel was impeccably clean and beautiful. Special thanks to Rebecca at the front desk, Javiar at the pool bar, the kind older gentleman at the Coco Café, and our wonderful concierge, Francia, for going above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary unforgettable!

This was our 17th trip to Mexico and 22nd visit to all-inclusive resorts. We have stayed at many higher end resorts including other Secrets, Excellence resorts and others so I believe that we have a broad range of alternatives to compare. Secrets Maroma has always been interesting given the price difference between this resort and the alternatives. So, is this resort worth the extra money? In a word no. First the good: The resort is lovely with beautiful pools and a great beach. The food at the French restaurant was very good and the steak restaurant served some of the best meat that we have ever had at an all-inclusive. The resort is spotless and the nightly shows are excellent as well. The service was good across the complex. Now the bad: The other restaurants were really nothing special. The rooms are smaller than other resorts we have stayed at and the balconies small as well. The “ocean view” room upgrade was a joke. Save your money. The only ocean you could see from the room was a small sliver of water over the tree tops. There are limited exercise options in the pool area and the gym is very small and quite hot. One would expect at this price point that the liquor selection would be excellent but this was not the case. The only decent scotch available was Johnny Walker Black and the selection of other liquors is no better than resorts costing 35% less. Stay away from the time share presentation. They insisted when we booked that the presentation would only take 90 minutes. When we arrived we discovered that the 90 minutes started after a mandatory breakfast and a “tour” of the resort. The real time commitment it at least 3 hours. We walked out. To sum up Secrets Maroma is a lovely resort that doesn’t offer services, drinks and food commensurate with its price point.

Beat my expectations
I was pleasantly surprised at the service and quality provided during our stay. The staff were absolutely incredible and dedicated in making our vacation an enjoyable one. The quality of the food was outstanding and enjoyed the entertainment programing. I will definitely be coming back with my family to enjoy.
