Great resort size and close to the sand
The room with the walk out pool is amazing. The entire resort is really nice and feels expensive. The size of the place is easy to get around and you are close to the beach especially with the swim out rooms. Not a ton of people so it is not real crowded, evenings were really nice

Overall great trip
Overall had a great experience! Had no trouble getting chairs by the pool each day, did not feel like we had to wake up at 6am to grab chairs like we have had to do at other resorts! We did end up getting a cabana our last 2 days to celebrate a birthday, which were also great, but space at the pool was no trouble! We were pleased with the food for an all inclusive resort, absolutely loved the sushi bar! Staff was pleasant, but I wanted to give a shout out to Denisa at the buffet and Lola’s! She was very friendly, personable, and welcoming each day! Transportation with Amstar was simple, made our arrival and departure very smooth. One warning, take the staff seriously when they warn you about locking your balcony door! We had 2 instances of coatis entering our room through the balcony, one in the middle of the night because our latch was truly broken. Despite this, the staff was quick to resolve the issue and repair our lock. Overall we had a great experience!

Book elsewhere but great entertainment
Check in was horrible they didn’t have my booking then the room upgrade was even worse I was sold an ocean room but looked out on a huge roof. All cabanas are for hire not included, most restaurants are fully booked we didn’t eat dinner until 10 pm each night.

Great resort for a relaxing vacation
We stayed here for a long weekend and it was a fantastic experience. It was our first time at an all inclusive, and we liked that the zilara riviera maya wasn't such a party spot. The energy was good, there was always something to do, but it was a great place to unwind. We got a swim up room which was great, huge space, and having our private pool was great as the main pool gets busy in the afternoon. The food was much better than I expected, and the sushi bar especially was a highlight. Staff is helpful and friendly, there is a tiny bit of upselling at the check in, but they leave you alone for the rest of your stay which is totally fine with me. We had a great time!

Best resort ever!
We just got back from having an amazing time at this resort. Staff was amazing, food was great, hotel rooms were clean. I cannot say enough good stuff about this resort. It is perfect in size, they are always entertaining you with tastings, exercise classes, games, shows, the list goes on. Again the staff is hard working and are the most friendly people to deal with. You will never hear me stop bragging about this resort, I look forward to booking with them again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay the best!
