    Definitely Worth the Trip

Wonderful resort. Friendly staff. We had an incredible week here. The beach was nicely taken care of with seaweed removal. The pool area was great and getting a chair wasn't too bad. Sandy in entertainment was incredible. Dinner options were tasty. A smaller resort with wonderful staff in a beautiful setting.

Short and sweet escape to Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya

Thank you to Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya and all the staff for a very nice escape to Mexico. I highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation. The Beach was very clean; they work so hard to make sure that the sea weeds don't interfere with your vacation. At the beach or around the pool, plenty of seat, no need to wake up at 5 AM to reserve chairs. 4 restaurants. Plenty of choice: asian, mexican, italian, mexican and a buffet. The staff is wonderful, always smiling and ready to help and serve. let me single out few: Raoul at the Check-in desk, Daniel at the Fitness center, Mariala at the Restaurant "El Comedor" during Breakfast at the Omelette station and all the "Coffee Republic". Thanks Guys, I will be back because of your smiles, attentiveness, energy and savoir-faire!! Muchas Gracias, Nos vemos!

    Lovely resort!

We enjoyed our stay at this resort! It is on the smaller side (in case you are looking for a larger resort ) but absolutely lovely. We rented a cabana poolside daily. A lot of people seem to complain about having to rent them but most resorts we have visited have a charge for cabanas so this is a non issue for us and we love the convenience of having a chosen spot daily poolside. The beach and water were fantastic even with a large amount of seaweed this year. They did a nice of job of trying to clear the beach daily. We did miss having views of the ocean from poolside but not a dealbreaker. Rooms were nice and resort is super clean. Staff were fantastic - our poolside servers, Daniel and Rafael were the best! They made our trip even more special. We enjoyed the sports bar and the lobby bar for drinks and entertainment in the evening. They both had a great vibe, great staff and we met some great people. We also enjoyed the silent disco! Dining choices might seem limited especially when one goes on rotation but we enjoyed all places and had no trouble finding different things to eat at all of them. The BBQ and cuisine set up poolside was fantastic and we enjoyed the cabana and lunch menu as well. Mexico never disappoints! The people and resorts go out of their way to make every stay the best possible.

    Bad food, weird environment

Never been to an "all inclusive resort" where they limit your access to food. On our first day there we noticed they were turning people away from the very LIMITED resteraunts and buffet advising it would open at 6pm then people would return to be turned away again.. so weird almost like they know the food is bad and don't want you to eat anything.

    April is Mexico is Wonderful!

Great resort, beautiful beach, most comfy bed, good food, too many business conference large groups. Wait staff, bartenders, housekeeping staff, and entertainment staff (especially Sandy) is great. Not too far from airport! Great evening shows!
