Apr 17, 2025Wonderful Stay at Secrets Cap Cana
Our stay here was everything we expected it to be and more! The resort is clean, easy to navigate and has amazing food and drinks. We stayed in a preferred, ocean front suite and the view ( especially sunrise) is unforgettable. Our butler, Darling, was the BEST ! he made sure that all of our needs were always met and provided us with many surprises/gifts during our stay. If you have him as your butler, you will be VERY happy. Also a big shout out to Marcia in the Preferred Lounge, she is super nice and makes a great old fashioned !

Okay stay. Upon check in, we were informed that they had us in the computer system for a Tropical View Room, we had booked and paid for an Ocean View Room!!!! They then proceeded to tell us that the only other room available in the whole resort was one of their most expensive suites and we could have that room if we paid more!! We were then left to stand in the lobby for over an hour as they “checked with Management”. They insisted the lower value room was our only option. Thank goodness my husband was there on business. The business has a travel representative also travel with the company. We informed her of our issue. Within 30 minutes of her speaking to management, we were being showed to our Ocean View Room!!! I feel like they tried to bully us into a more expensive room. So thankful for our traveling agent, not sure how it would have ended without her. During our stay, we were told by an employee that the resort was only about 60% full. If planning a stay there, make sure you take all of your booking information with you. And make sure your booking information clearly states the full description of the room you booked.

Third time is a charm!!!
This is our third time. And, the best time we have had. Private transport was with Amstar, and they were excellent with safe, clean, and cool vehicles. Drivers were courteous and on time. We did the VIP arrival, and it is always worth it to us. We stayed Preferred in Room 4004. It was sunny daily with a scattered rain shower here and there that lasted maybe minutes. Everyone stayed in the ocean, pool, wherever they were. The staff and grounds were absolutely stunning. The sand is raked, the puddles are swept away, the bushes are pruned. The beautification goes on and on. Very little sargassum this week. There is a crew to rake it away on a daily basis. The beach staff are wonderful. Our Butler was Carlos. There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful person he is. So here goes...dedicated, professional, friendly, patient, kind, and knows his job perfectly. He can answer any question. He checks in daily with each guest. The resort is a better place because of him. We had cooler shower water one late evening and the following morning. We contacted Carlos, and it was fixed within 30 minutes that morning. Housekeeping staff were superb. Entertainment was great. We enjoyed the beach lunches that included cookouts, Mexican, and paella. It was all delicious. The food in the restaurants has gotten better. We enjoyed the teppanyaki table and had fun talking with other guests. We decided to enjoy the resort without excursions. We look forward to returning again to this wonderful place.

Great concierge, Gerardo, made the stay memorable.
Had a great time over four nights at Cap Cana. The grounds and room were really nice and clean. Plenty to do and good eating options. The best part was our concierge, Gerardo. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Hopefully, you are lucky enough to get him.

Amazing time we love secrets brand. PUJ Cap Cana top notch best resort!! Shout out to nightly DJ!! In lobby the best. All entertainment team Beyonce, Elizabeth, Scooby Doo, Mini MI, all Beach waiters waitress went above and beyond!!. BORDEAUX best restaurtant . 2nd best but tied fir 1st hibachi himitsu.
