Resort Bahia Mita
Room was cleaned Food was good 8th floor pool rocked Was a great time with friends and was fortunate enough to meet a few new ones. Is joined to a Dreams There are lots of common area so kids are around. The only downfall of the resort. I love kids just not when I am on vacation.

Classy and beautiful
This is an incredible resort. So many beautiful pools and nice beachfront with great drinks & food activities. The restaurants on the property are classy and wonderful! I earned an all expense paid trip and this was planned by our incredible company LifeWave. They really couldn’t have picked a better place. We earned the trip last year as well, Hard Rock in Punta Cana. This far exceeded Punta Cana. Smaller, easier to get around, better food. They also have kayaks, surfboards and stand up paddle boards to enjoy. The rooms are clean, large, comfortable and the bed was perfect! Huge shower!! Small makeup table outside the bathroom to get ready.

Relaxing short vacation spot
This was a very nice resort. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I might not have chosen it had I realized that it is commingled with a family resort though the kids were pretty easy to ignore and avoid plus it gave us more options for food. I wish there had been more entertainment. It feels like a miss that there isn’t a bar or stage with live music or a DJ nightly. The rooms are spacious. We upgraded to premier in order to have a plunge pool on our balcony and access to the premium bars with better booze options. Plus, it meant our room was very close to the elevator and stairs. They tried to get us to sit through some sales pitch but we skipped it and they never pestered us again. There is a fancy spa, which we did not pay for, but we did pay for a couples massage on the beach which was a trip highlight. It’s not a good spot if you want to go see Puerto Vallarta—it’s very far away. It’s more of a destination in and of itself. Four nights was the perfect amount of time for this place.

GREAT STAY!
We were here for a wedding, most stayed on the dreams side. We had a preferred club ocean view room . Rooms are beautiful, cleaned on time and nightly turn down . The view is ocean but we looked over a jungle as well and in the am all the buses bringing in workers woke us up at 6:00am, so that was a miss on room category for us . The staff and service were amazing at restaurants and by the pool . Omar, Antonio and Pfefe were rock star servers by the pool everyday . No saving of chairs so at 9:30 we could pick whatever we wanted . This seldom happens at resorts so a big plus for that . The food at the restaurants for the most part was very good quality for all inclusive , a few misses . At portofino we had a pasta dish with chicken on the side. Meat was hot and pasta was very cold, but the tiramisu was the best I have ever had! Fish soup at Mezes was inedible but the steak dinner Was great . Fabulous 24 her coffee shop with food to grab if you have early checkout or an excursion . The buffet for breakfast was probably the nicest we have ever had at an adults only resort . Couple comments on what could be improved. There could be more seating at the level 4 lobby bar area. Also not a big deal as there was lots of seating when we were there, but lots of dreams adults coming over to use the pool on the secrets side. I only know this as they were people from the wedding that were on dreams side . The odd time servers ask for room number but not always . We paid extra to stay there so should monitor a little more , as there are no wristbands . The beach is a miss as very rocky and not much seating , all tight together . Would come back here for sure as it’s a very nice well kept resort .

Worth the Review
I don't often write reviews, but after my experience at Secrets Bahia Mita I felt compelled to do so. This resort is simply incredible! The food is wonderful and the staff are the friendliest and most cheerful that I have ever encountered at an all inclusive. We have not stayed at an all-inclusive for over 10 years, preferring vacation rentals after our children grew up, but we were at this resort to attend a wedding. We were in the Preferred Club, on the Secrets side. I definitely recommend the Preferred Club for the access to all areas of the resort (restaurants, bars, etc). The wedding was lovely. The day after the wedding, we rented one of the oceanfront Cabanas. Service and food in there was unparalleled, thanks to Eric and the chef who came and grilled our food for us. Service at the pools was excellent. I specifically remember Kiki at the Manatee swim-up bar. Iris and Maria at breakfast in the Market Cafe were lovely, smiling faces every morning. Rose, the butler, was beyond helpful and cheerful. I strongly recommend this resort and would stay again.
