Not my favorite.
We didn’t have hot water until the last day. The buffet is not good at all. I felt pressured all the time about becoming a “preferred customer”. I wasn’t one so I didn’t get to use a certain pool, bar and restaurants. The regular pools are nice and the food at night is good. Not a lot of entertainment.

Cozumel off the Boat and what to do…
It rained the morning we arrived. By noon the rain had stopped. Robbie, Linda, Tiffany and I decided to get off the ship and go into the little town just past the boat. Robbie walking quite a bit in front of us led the way. First he hit the shop area looking for tee shirts. I was looking for something nicer like a sweater or a quarter zip preferably embroidered…Linda and I walked together and she was very helpful with my search. After some time Robbie found 2 tee shirts he liked and I found a light weight pull over I decided to take. Following that we decided to enter to visit Mahogany Beach. The sun was shining bright and the beach looked be beautiful, but empty.. Big beach bbq restaurants smelled good, smoke billowing from oversized outdoor grills that could cook large quantities of chicken and ribs, but they were missing the people. The concrete path ended as the sandy beach took over so my scooter journey ended as well. I sat on my scooter and watched Robbie walk to the waters edge to investigate. Nothing much was going on. With the ship docked in the background we left to go back on board and get some lunch. It was a good day all in all

Secrets Aura Cozumel
I recently stayed at the Secrets Aura Cozumel, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The entertainment was definitely a highlight, with a variety of shows and activities that kept us engaged and having fun throughout our stay. However, I did find the food to be a bit underwhelming. While the variety was good, the quality of the meals didn't quite meet my expectations for a resort of this caliber. That said, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. Shoutout Arbey and Diego! I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a great time with plenty of entertainment and a relaxing atmosphere. Just don’t expect a 5-star culinary experience. All in all, a wonderful getaway!

It was ok.
I had a good vacation. There were a few cons I must note. The hotel/ rooms were very outdated and the tub in my room was dirty when we first got there and never got cleaned. There was no hairdryer in my room but there was in all of my other family members rooms, and when I called room service to get a new one, I was put on hold for a long time and ended up getting hung up on. We didn’t get house keeping for 2 days so we had to re use towels and beds weren’t made. The food was mid, sometimes it came out cold. The breakfast options were not good, there was 2 buffets but all the food was cold and seemed old, and there were always birds eating from the food that was laid out. I ended up just ordering room service most of the time. The bartending/ service staff were awesome. I rarley had to wait more than a minute on a drink. I will say- you kind of get kicked to the curb if you’re not part of the preferred club, and we got shamed for staying in secrets instead of dreams. I did like how there were many pools to choose from and the beach access was awesome, along with the beach front service so I didn’t have to get up from my chair to get a drink. The best part of my whole trip was the entertainment staff, particularly Arbey and Diego. They made my trip so much fun and were always making me laugh. Arbey knows how to entertain the guests no matter what age they are. Arbey truly made my experience amazing.

Avoid this hotel
Disappointing stay. Would not recommend. Hotel rooms were poorly maintained. Our room was missing a bathroom door. Was then moved to a second room which flooded each time it rained, and our clothes and shoes were soaked. Food quality poor.
