Golf of a lifetime. Hotel not so much.
Booked TPC sawgrass experience through TPC vacations. Process was easy and expensive. Nipa Polnoi was very informative and helpful. Marriott TPC Sawgrass Given family of four, they recommended the Villas which was a one bedroom suite. We spent one night there and moved to the main hotel due to dysfunctional amenities and dirty conditions. The villas are worse than the dirty apartment you wouldn’t let your kid rent in college. They are past their prime and need to be demolished. The main hotel is a solid 7/10 and a huge improvement from the villas. The hotel is very convenient to the golf courses. Dye’s Valley Excellent course. Well maintained. Great warm up for the Stadium. Stadium Will reviews independently but it was completely spectacular and exceeded expectations in every way. Summary Marriott hotel is mid at best. DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IN THE VILLAS.

Read carefully before you book (stay elsewhere)
Disappointing Experience, Poor Management I’ve stayed nearly 600 nights with Marriott, and I can confidently say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The TPC Marriott is old, run-down, and unfortunately, the customer service matches the condition of the property. Housekeeping was non-existent—I requested my room to be cleaned twice, and it never happened. The shower had no conditioner my entire stay, a basic amenity that should never be overlooked. When I raised these concerns, management was completely dismissive. Instead of making things right, they made excuses, citing that housekeeping is “not guaranteed” and referring me to the website. When I asked to record that statement, the manager refused, clearly aware of how bad it sounded. Rather than resolving the issue, the manager hung up on me when I asked for further assistance. As a “compensation,” I was offered 15,000 points—an insult given the level of service failure. Marriott, as a brand, is crumbling, and this property is a prime example. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service or a comfortable stay.

Outdated
I read a few reviews before arriving so I had a little information about the property. Some reviews were correct. The property is outdated. The room had no usb ports on the lamps or the wall (at least didn’t see any). The bed I slept in made noises similar to walking on a weak wooden floor. I love Marriotts and the last thing I ever complain about is the beds. The outside view on the back end of the hotel looks like an old Holiday Inn. They had two pools: one heated and one not heated. These were just average pools. Since I vacationed in February, I only used the heated pool and it still was lukewarm. We stayed in the villas separated from the main hotel. It is gated so you need a key to come in and out. I appreciated that. I didn’t see any elevators for the villas so you had to carry everything up to the second level. I didn’t mind that but if you are limited physically, this can be an issue. The walls are paper thin. We had a family next door with kids. If anyone was in the room talking, you could hear what they were saying. The highlight of the stay was going to the TPC golf course and getting a tour of part of the course, including the 17th hole and island green. It’s only a mile away. I will say I was glad I visited the area but probably won’t stay here again.

Massage/spa day
They have the softest robes ever!!! The services from the front to the back, from the inside and outs, my experience was amazing! I will be returning to enjoy another deep tissue massage as well as other spa treatments! Eric as well as “Nifer” have magical hands! Stephen seemed like our personal assistant by going above and beyond our expectations with frosty spirits and delicious bite by the refreshing pool! My experience was first-class and there is not a thing I would change! Thank you!

Beautiful but neglected - Seen better days
Beautiful property and you can tell it was once glorious though it seems like current management doesn't care about it at all. Many things dated or just not even working at all, such as the self-parking. Keycard didn't get me into or out of the self park area, was late for a meeting the next day on account of not being able to get out of the blessed parking lot. Not sure how Marriott lets this kind of neglect go unchecked, definitely not up to Marriott standards though at least I used my points and didn't have to pay full price. Staff were excellent, across the board friendly and helpful, just seems a shame that management doesn't want to take care of the property.
