Fantastic Hotel and Experience Highly Recommended!
We had a fantastic time at the San Juan Marriott & Stellaris Casino. When we arrived we were greated by Jean/Jan at the front desk who was so kind and welcoming explaining all about the hotel and their services. We stayed in an Oceanfront 'renovated room' in the main tower and it didn't disappoint! Very nicely appointed and comfortable. We felt like we could jump in the ocean from the 16th floor - it was that close to the water! The elevators are really convenient since the layout is a square, so no room is far from the elevators. The highlight of this hotel is really the staff and service. The Cosecha restaurant is on the beach level and has an amazing view of the pool area and beach. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we've had anywhere and mimosas are included! ALL the staff were incredible - every one of them greeted us and made sure we were taken care of. Next is the pool staff! Stephanie, Myrna, Julio, Oda and Rita among many others went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We rented a cabana by the pool which are all new, open on the sides, provide just enough sun through the roof. They made sure we always had waters, ice and drinks! There is a swim up bar where the staff will take care of you nicely. Overall the pool area is so enjoyable - even without the cabana - the chairs are nice and plenty enjoyable on their own. The lobby bar is also nice and has different late night (DJ, Live Singer etc.), so it's quite enjoyable and the food is top notch! Brian at the lobby bar went out of his way to take care of us and also in the casino, but really all the staff at the lobby bar are incredible. The hotel location is close to many restaurants under 10 minutes walk, so very convenient. Thank you to the San Juan Marriott Resort for making our stay one that we'll remember forever!

EXPENSIVE!!
The service is great especially if you are a an Elite Marriott member. the beach is VERT CROWDED !! You are on top of each other. The beach chairs are very old, broken and uncomfortable. For a rate of $599 they need to do more. the breakfast buffet is $41 plus plus How much eggs and toast can you eat for $41???? Very expensive. It is a nice hotel but very very expensive. I am sure you can find great accommodations for a better value.

Another great vacation!
My husband and I returned to the Stellaris for our 5th visit. The lobby area has been renovated and is lovely. As always, the rooms and common areas were immaculate. Carlos and his crew at the pool do an excellent job assisting guests. The aqua aerobics instructor is fabulous. All of the staff at this property are wonderful and bend over backward to help their guests. See you next year!

Great resort with welcoming staff.
Stayed overnight after our cruise. Great staff and enjoyed the ocean breeze. Very relaxing. Hung out at the pool and on our balcony. Enjoyed nice treatment as a Bonvoy gold member. The Ocean Club cabana was overpriced and not necessary for our stay. The ocean club staff tried to give us a cabana in the middle of a construction zone but eventually agreed to let us pay for another cabana.

Good resort, but terrible beds
The Good The hotel itself is beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly, attentive people. The pool and waterslide were a hit, and the beach, while a bit dangerous, was thrilling and fun. The food and drinks were solid, and the shower was fantastic. Its central location made it easy to explore the area. The Bad Unfortunately, being in a central location also meant that most nearby restaurants felt like overpriced tourist traps. Outside the resort, there was a noticeable homeless presence, which might be unsettling for some. But the real deal-breaker? The beds and pillows were hands down the worst we’ve ever experienced. Our family of four barely slept, with me waking up with back pain and the kids complaining of sore necks. After reading other reviews, we probably should have cut our losses and switched hotels early on.
