Great mid-range, beachfront hotel option
Beach - Comfy chairs and beach staff to set you up. Umbrellas are rooted into the ground. It's hard to get more than one chair in the shade at any given point, but come prepared and you'll be all right. Beach service (Myrna was da bomb) is very attentive. We had cocktails more than one day as well as beach-side lunch 2x and the poke bowl is worth a try if you're into that. The water is ROUGH. I am from New England and used to some undertow and waves, but MAN! Not a relaxing affair by any stretch. Keep an eye on your kids! It is hard to even get a good dunk without getting tossed by the surf. Be warned. Pool - Two adjacent options which was nice and plenty of chairs/shade, but neither is deep! No crazy limit on towels taken which is very refreshing. Wish there was an adults-only pool, but oh well. Slide for the kids but it unfortunately empties into the same pool as the swim-up bar (children plus adults...not the best combo). Nice folks roaming around to bring drinks poolside which is awesome. Food - Aside from beach food, we only ate at the restaurant(s) for lunch on our day of arrival. Was okay. Friendly service. Room - Pretty darn good. Clean (yessss). Had an issue with shower drainage on day 1 which was quickly resolved. Great housekeeping though I wish they took a closer look at whether we needed more coffee or not! Need that mid-afternoon pick-me-up. No noise from the side of the tower (view of the pickleball courts next door and the beach). Etc - Great location. Free coffee in the lobby in the AM. Went to the gym a couple times. Sauna was closed and we couldn't figure out how to use the changing room lockers (we went early), but the facilities were adequate enough to burn some calories and use some weights. Annoyingly you had to wear this wristband everywhere which dangles into everything and brands you brightly as a Marriott tourist. Tightens too much if you are not careful. Kind of irritating. Might be an area for improvement but I guess it's good to make sure it's just resort people about? Security staff were very present and super friendly. Would stay here again. Good value for the money. Give it a go!

Top Notch Customer Service
Although we are seasoned travelers, this was our first visit to Puerto Rico and stay at the Marriott Stellaris in Condado. We had a 5-night stay and would go back without hesitation. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had an excellent experience.

Marriott Resort San Juan
I stayed here for a day prior to embarking on a cruise. The location is great. It is on a beach and within walking distance to lots of eateries, pharmacy, etc. The beach was okay but not one of my favorites, it’s a public beach so at the time of our visit people were basting music and smoking weed, thus was not the relaxing atmosphere that I prefer. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. I loved the fact that our room had a balcony. I picked up some breakfast from the great cafe they have in the hotel and was able to sit on the balcony while watching people play pickle ball

Perfect beach vacation
5 star service: beach staff, servers, housekeeping and check in. Great beach location and easy to access restaurants, bars, and downtown. Good buffet breakfast rack morning with unlimited mimosas! We never sat at the pool, it seemed more kid centric. All public spaces were very clean and modern.

Spa massage
Carlos in the spa was amazing… great technique, kind, deep tissue just perfect! Best massage I’ve had in a long time. Spa was calm, relaxing. Only negative was relax room had no fluid in the water dispenser and no fruit/ nuts in the serving tray. Thank you!!!! Kristin McCoy
