Great value for money option, small enough to be friendly but big enough to be able to offer you everything you need
Friendly relaxed professional staff, well maintained and comfortable resort. We had a room in Marra tower on smoking floor that hasn’t been remodelled, it was fine, cleaned daily. Reception offered resort fee waived for 3 out of 5 days as it hadn’t been remodelled. Room was good if a little dated but great offer. Pool great, drinks expensive poolside. Casino was good and friendly, visible and professional security felt very safe. Food options excellent and good quality. Spa was excellent. Great that hotel was connected to south strip by monorail.

Great Resort but needs a few improvements
I've been staying at Sahara for over 10 years because of their amazing rates, restaurants, and beautiful rooms. However, the two issues they need to address are long lines for check-in/checkout and the elevators. Many Las Vegas resorts now have kiosks that allow self check-in/checkout. I highly recommend they add a few of these. The elevators just seem to take longer than they need to. With 6 banks available, there should never really be a wait. Otherwise, love the Sahara.

So’kay
We don’t usually stay in traditional hotels anymore. The main reasons are there is no coffee service in the room, the refrigerator is not usable, parking is pretty remote and getting all your stuff to the room is either expensive or a heckuva slog. All that was true for our stay at the Sahara, but we were able to overlook it all because of the price! The room was nice, with a big TV and a pretty comfortable bed. The shower worked well, with good pressure and quick warmth. We were on the 20th floor, with a great view of the roof of the parking garage. There was often interesting meet ups going on up there. The sink didn’t drain well and the soap dish some purchaser got bribed to select was disgusting. The door to the bathroom is one of those god awful barn doors. It doesn’t close properly and lets cool air in while you shower. It also makes that private event we all have much less private. Terrible idea.
