Water park – As previously shared, our Water Park continues to operate seamlessly, boasting an array of 13 monster slides, four splash pad slides, two lazy rivers, and a range of pool amenities. The response from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive. Due to external factors, particularly unusual weather conditions in the region, the completion of the final monster water slide has experienced a necessary extension. To address this, we have proactively rescheduled its availability for our mutual clients to October 15th.

    Avoid at all costs

    I reserved a diamond suite with the spa on the balcony. I thought maybe being diamond status there would be more to it. Mind you I go to Cancun every year and stay at the Hard Rock Cancun. I decided to try this location because of the restaurant choices and it sounded great. Wrong! I arrived to the hotel and had to go to the diamond checkin where one of the hotel people took the info of someone else before me when I was waiting in line before them. Needless to say I waited another 20 mins. I btw went to the diamond office and it was busier than the normal check in. Anyway I was introduced to my Butler, who was awesome, both of them were. First day the resort had kids running around with lazy parents not watching them. In the “diamond” locations kids were at the bars without any parents and ordering kiddie drinks holding up the bar for adult customers. The pools were filled up with people. It was absolute chaos. Then to get an elevator took an act of god because everyone was up and down and you had a kid pushing buttons. They need more stair access or segregate the elevators by levels. I went to the first restaurant and ordered a bottle of wine, they were out. Ordered something else. Second day wanted to enjoy my balcony and day of enjoying the time, but I had a family under me wading in the swim up pool making a bunch of noise and the parents just letting them scream. Thankfully I brought my Bluetooth speaker and blasted some Missy Elliot and Ol’skool snoop. Third day went to the spa and it was great, no kids and it was fairly quiet. The staff was good. Went to their “Zen” restaurant and ordered a sparkling dry Rosè. Came back and said they were out. And that they were out of all sparkling wine. I ordered another regular dry rosè and they were out. Then the waiter decided to suggest moscato to me. First I am from California near Napa, Lodi, El Dorado and Sonoma and my wine palette is not that of a teenager or amateur wine drinker. You don’t drink moscato for dinner, maybe desert? Maybe cheese? Their excuse was that it was busy. Well if you knew it was a busy time wouldn’t you order extra? Clearly in this resort they don’t and don’t know how to order. I left the restaurant and settled for the Buffett. Tomorrow I have a reservation at their steakhouse and I was going to upgrade I am planning on holding off and spend the money when I get back to the U.S where the meal is worth it. I do not recommend this place unless you are a parent looking to let your kids run free and rampant. If you are someone looking to relax go somewhere else. The diamond status is a complete ripoff. The Hard Rock was way better even tho it was older. At least there was some order and the experience was great. Avoid this location or cancel your reservation find somewhere else.

    Tapanyaki at Zen

    We had the best experience at the tapanyaki show with arturo. Most welcoming, very professional, Best chef, best service, beautiful work of art and honestly he put his 100% at tapanyaki show. Thank you Arturo . I would recommend him 100%. Good job Arturo and keep it up

    10/10 experience, would definitely come here again

    Chef Hugo had amazing performance. Best salmon I’ve ever had. I would definitely come here again, very entertaining here in the Royalton Splash hotel. Not a single time did I feel disinterested in the time I was eating at this restaurant. Very happy with my experience.

    Chef Arturo- was absolutely amazing he was funny , and beautiful food.I would definitely recommend arturo and the waiter Miguel they was both really great characters and i really enjoyed my time at the restaurant. Absolutely amazing !!!!

    Great night at Zen.

    Loved Zen and Arturo did a wonderful show!!!! So much fun. He did a great job of keeping everybody engaged. And Manuel at Zen was our best waiter!!! so attentive Had a choice between chicken, shrimp, beef, and salmon. I had the shrimp. The teriyaki sauce was delicious.
