Royalton Hideaway in Punta Cana - Excellent!!
Miguel from the tennis courts was amazing!! He is the best, we had a splendid day playing tennis. The restaurant Dorado is great because you don’t even need reservations. Food and service are superb!! Definitely would return!! The beach was so nice!!

Best trip
Edwin Berroa was amazing. He made all the difference in our trip. He was a huge help getting us into the all inclusive restaurants even though the resort was very busy when we went. The resort was clean, water park was awesome and food was good. We had a great experience all around.

Serious Maintenance Issues Impacting Our Stay
I recently stayed at the Royalton Splash Punta Cana, and while the resort may have potential, there were significant maintenance issues that severely affected my experience. Mold Around Vents: The presence of mold around the air vents in both the bathroom and bedroom was a major concern. It wasn't just cosmetic; the mold was noticeable and raised health concerns, particularly for those with respiratory issues. Debris Falling into the Shower: The ceiling in the shower was in poor condition. A piece of drywall had fallen from the ceiling into the only shower, creating a safety hazard. This was a serious issue that made using the shower very uncomfortable. Water Damage and Drooping Roof: In the bathroom, the ceiling was clearly affected by water damage, with the roof drooping and appearing to be supported by the faucet. This is not just an aesthetic problem but a safety concern. Bed Frame Missing a Piece: The bedframe in the room was unstable, as it was missing a piece. While this wasn’t as big of an issue, it still contributed to an overall disappointing experience. I’ve attached photos to show these issues in detail. These are not minor problems but major concerns that should have been addressed before guests arrived. I strongly encourage the management to take immediate action to resolve these maintenance issues to improve the overall guest experience.

AVERAGE - wouldn’t go back
We booked here in 2019 and then returned during March break this year 2025. Sadly we were disappointed with many aspects of this trip. We booked diamond club as we did before. The poor butler had 11 other families to look after and was not able to book any à la cart restaurants as this is now something members have to do themselves. So if you’re looking for some time away from technology - think again! The uploads of availability for dinner had an unknown window for when they might open and one to constantly check as they would all book up within minutes. Take note the closest you could book in was for two days in advance. So if you arrive Sunday and catch onto the system that same day you might be able to secure something for Tuesday. After all this trouble of getting into a restaurant I got food poisoning and ended up being bedridden for two days. Another family we met there joined us for dinner and all three of us whom had the seafood platter were projectile vomiting within 3-4 hours. Talk about a nightmare! The guy from Guest services came to my room to check on me day two and openly admitted he was in on his Saturday off as there were multiple people in the same situation as me. He asked me to fill out paperwork to try and prevent the situation from escalating any further and wanted a log of everything I ate the past three days. No compensation offered. While at The Royalton, a name in which has lost its value for my family, I often felt like everyone was working for and expecting a generous tip. This was for everything - including your morning coffee. Honestly, it ruined the vacation vibe for me. We have travelled Royalton exclusively for years and moving forward this will not be the case anymore. The beach was beautiful to look at but waves strong and brought up a lot of sand and seaweed. The water park was a blast for the kids. Was it worth what we paid? Not at all!

Vibe team are the best!
One of our favourite resorts! We have been here 3 years in a row. The staff is what makes it, we love the daytime activities and nighttime entertainment. The resort is great for families with excellent food options, kid and teen friendly activities and safety, and the waterpark! Our kids always make friends and we let them roam somewhat free during the day as the resort is super safe. This is not typically a party resort so it felt safe. Staff is amazing, Vibe team JJ, Makaela, Yaby, Balky, Luis and Jose Miguel are all amazing and make your trip. Bar and wait staff at the splash pool are also the best, Ernesto, Elby and Maria. Enrique at under the sea and many of the Selections staff are so good. We always find good food options, the coffee at Beans and Scoops is top notch and the snack bar is super convenient. The sports bar also has great chicken wings and you can watch all the games from NHL nba and more. We will be back next year for sure.
