My husband and I had our destination wedding here April 2025 with 25 guests. Ilse did an excellent job bringing our dream wedding to fruition, it was incredible! The stay was great too - only recommendations would be to get pool/beach chairs early and make dinner reservations ASAP if interested as they fill up quick!

I had such a wonderful time at the Martini Bar. Our experience was amazing because of Catalina y Yessica. #1 SERVICE
Catalina y Yessica are amazing waitresses. They were very fast and super friendly. They served the best drinks. Also, they shared great stories with us. Their story is amazing because they are from Oaxaca and Chiapas. Both are amazing Pueblos.

Best Bartender Ever!!!
Casimiro was our server and went above and beyond, made our stay beyond enjoyable. We spent a week in Mexico at the Hideaway Royalton and will definitely come back to have more beers and shots!!! He is actually the highlight of our stay and would recommend the hideaway just to see him!!! Thank you Casimiro!!!

Apr 17, 2025Great resort with some follies otherwise would have been 5 star
Beautiful resort well laid out. We stayed as a diamond club with butler services and a swim out room 6110. Excellent room, bad mangrove smells waking us up first 2 nights. After supplying a de-humidifier from our butler recommendations this fixed the problem plus made the humidity etc better than expected. We would recommend this to anyone on main floor. Ok the bad - Bed comfort was horrible with dated mattress with dips on either side of bed. Poor sleeps every night however we did not complain to our butler about this so my bad. - room service was very poor even after making this a priority with our butler. Timing was always wrong and order was never correct. Kept complaining without and fixes and it then got worse by them delivering coffee just after midnight when we were already in bed or 2 hours before asked time at 8 pm waking us up again and having them not return to the time needed. There is a major disconnect between ordering on tv and app. App is better for fine tiring order but you will have to phone them to confirm even though they confirm it on the app and still you may not get what you ordered or on time. We could not stress this enough to our butler how important it was for us just to have our breakfast at our swim out room every morning with our mimosas. Huge dissatisfaction in this department. Our butler could not resolve this and that’s what we paid the extra for. - tripping hazards everywhere, just sit back and watch people trip everywhere. Pretty funny yet dangerous. - pool side service pretty much non existent but we didn’t care because the bar service walk up was quick and friendly. Ok for the good and great - butlers did arrange compensation for downfalls. Thank you Valeria and Cesar and were attentive in all areas outside of room service deficiencies but on the plus we did get mimosas every morning. - food was outstanding at all alacarts with our preference being the steakhouse and best experience at Daroga in the hideaway. - food in the buffet was also excellent with great service and made up for deficiencies from the room service - bar service outstanding and the premium liquor far beyond expectations - casino was fun -pools were excellent however a little cold so we thought in the diamond club area. -morning coffee at fuel was amazing with all the other little extras they have - beach fantastic -entertainment great in the main pool area both during day and night. Final score 4 out of 5 Butlers Valeria and/or Cesar amazing and highly recommended

I accidentally booked for one person instead of 2 and it was a big deal to just add the food for the second person on to the bill. Booking dinners was a nightmare. You could only book after midnight the day before. All the kids stay up past that, not so much the older adults. Therefore it was extremely difficult to get a reservation if you don’t get up in the middle of the night and do it. Beach and rooms were nice.
