Everything was amazing! From the food the room and room service ! Stocked bar ! The beautiful pools and beach! The soft sand .. KEDON was amazing at the swim Up bar! Always nice and friendly . He made sure my friend and I were great all three days ! I will definitely come back because of him .

Exceptional staff!!!
Chevanese is the most caring affectionate pool side beach side server we’ve ever met on vacation ! So sweet and so compassionate! Over all the resort staff has been great and attentive. TJ the photographer was amazing and hung our our teenagers singing karaoke with them !

Mar 11, 2025Stay far far away from this Royalton in Jamaica
I usually won't write a review if a resort is substandard and will let the hotel figure it out but this resort in Jamaica was so bad I feel I need to warn travelers not to go there. I am a fan of Royalton - we went to the one in Cancun a couple of years ago and it was excellent and this was the reason I told my friends to come but the Hideway Blue waters in Jamaica is horrible. To start the resort was without water for 2 days. The management literally hid in their offices during this period and only said they were working on it as fast as they could. No showers, toilets for 2 days?? Maybe a free spa treatment, excursion or upgraded bottle of wine would have been a nice offer - but nothing. Our butler (Kimberly) was horrible and should either be retrained or let go. She provided attitude to us for simple requests and more or less sat in the Diamond club lounge on her phone waiting for her shift to end. Our friends butler Kamal was very good and made up for Kimberly. The restaurants kept running out of food and wine on multiple nights and we had to go out and find wine at the bars to bring back to the restaurants. Fire alarms kept going off at all hours of the day. Cleaning staff role their carts up and down the tiled halls starting at 7am making loud noise and yell to each other across the resort. We were Diamond club level and when in the diamond club lounge in the evening they start to take away the food and drinks at 10:30pm although the lounge closes at 11pm. We were in there just before 11pm and was told to clean up after ourselves??? Staff won't stay a minute past 11pm. I am hoping other guests that were their during the first week of March 2025 write reviews and can back up my comments. Stay far far away from this resort.

Mar 10, 2025Great Family Vacation
We travelled as a family of 4 (with 4 & 6 year old boys) from March 1-8. I don't really understand all the bad reviews as we absolutely loved our stay! We booked a Diamond Club Ocean view room and it was very clean (thanks Shaneik!) and well stocked. Our butlers were Fitzgerald and Willard and they were great! They booked our restaurants, brought the kids chicken fingers by the pool and answered any questions we had! There was one day that we were without water from about 11pm until 4pm the next day - we were updated regularly by our butlers and it honestly didn't affect us too much, other than not being able to use the bathrooms throughout the resort. Once the water came back, the bathrooms were promptly cleaned and everything was back to normal! Other than that we had zero issues with hot water. The water pressure was weak around 4-6pm most days since that is when many people shower. But no big deal! We enjoyed all the food. We ate the majority of our meals at the buffet as it was easiest for us with kids, and we never got bored. The hashbowns at breakfast were delicious! Our favourite was seafood night - they even had fresh grilled lobsters that you could grab right outside the buffet. They were delicious! HUGE shoutout to Crystal at the buffet for catering to our picky kids. If you see her, tell her Jackson and family say hi! Clive also took very good care of us at the buffet! We had quite a few lunches at the Diamond club beach bar and Maria was wonderful and so sweet with the kids. The kids waterpark was a HUGE hit! Nethanial did a wonderful job keeping us hydrated by bringing us drinks all day while the kids played! The height requirement for the big slides in 48 inches so our kids weren't tall enough but my husband and I did go down a couple of them while the kids went to kids club for an hour! Speaking of kids club, we only utilized it twice for about an hour each time but they were so friendly! The kids had a great time. Our one regret is not bringing beach toys, but the kids did spend a lot of their time diving in the main pool for hair elastics, lol! Big shout out to Tariq, Ryan and Ivan at the swim up bar - they made great drinks and were a really fun time! All in all, we had a wonderful week and made many memories that will last a lifetime! As long as you are okay going with the flow, you will have a great time too!

Amazing! Will be coming back!!!
The resort was stunning, but the real highlight was the vibe team! From the moment we arrived, they made everyone feel so welcomed with their energy, friendliness, and fun activities. They went above and beyond to create a lively, inclusive atmosphere, making sure every guest felt special. Whether it was through engaging games, personalized service, or just their contagious enthusiasm, they truly made the experience unforgettable. The resort itself was beautiful, with great amenities, but it was the vibe team that made it feel like home. Can’t wait to come back!
