Visited the gym. Very clean, nice variety of machines and friendly staff. Especially thanks to Cesar (gym staff) for his help :) Nice view of the beach and food and drink all day long. 🙌☺️ Nice vibe and would recommend to families, couples and more!

POOR customer service, bad food, not recommended. Also rooms are ugly and they dont restock the bar and make the rooms every day, you have to ask for them and wait for a long time. I waste my time and money coming here. The have to educate the staff how try people

This resort is very clean and well maintained. Its is family friendly, with many children. The staff is extraordinary, helpful and friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a resort where the staff asked “are you good, is your room ok?” I didn’t have any issues with my room or the facilities, and feel that if there was an issue, it would be addressed immediately. Bring your walking shoes, the resort is spread out. It’s a long walk from the beach to the main entrance. The are bellman with golf carts driving people around which is helpful. At times they get busy and there were a few times the wait for a golf cart was over 10 minutes. I got the Diamond Club upgrade, it’s comes with a butler, or personal concierge. Darleny was fantastic. There is also a separate Diamond Club pool, which was nice as a means to get away from the busy kid oriented main pool area. The Ocean Side restaurant is a Diamond Club only breakfast, which was a quieter option on the ocean in the morning. Here-in lies my only issue. The food. The main building breakfast buffet had a Carnival Cruise feel to it. That was a one and done experience, too many people, unsupervised kids, at a crowded buffet was nauseating. Thanking myself for the Diamond Club upgrade the rest of the visit at the Ocean Side buffet, which was good. I’m am not a foodie, so my observations are not hyper critical. The challenge of feeding a couple thousand meals a day is a huge challenge for any resort. Eat here to stay healthy and nourished during your stay, don’t expect to be impressed with a consistent high quality experience. The specialty restaurants require a reservation, so once again the Diamond Club upgrade paid off and my butler Miss Darleny took care of all the details. Expect to be seated around 8-8:30 or later without a reservation. Hunters Steak House- horrible don’t go. My ribeye was served cold, and dry, which is amazing because took way too long to be served. Grazie Italian- average, but don’t go. This was the only place on the resort I found to be dirty. The chairs had bad stains and there was a bit of a foul oder, way out of character for the overall good condition of the resort. They forgot to serve my soup course, which was ok, because had had lost my appetite anyway. Rio- Must Go!! Rio saved the day with a great Brazilian meats experience. I went my last night. If I were to come back, I’d have dinner here at least twice. There are several other dinner options I didn’t try on a 4 night visit. There’ s a big show stage adjacent to the main building. The shows drew nice crowds, the “white party” night was fun, and the fire show was good. I was impressed with the production value of the shows. Overall I’d recommend the Royalton Bravo and would return with the must have Diamond Club upgrade and would request Darleny as my concierge/butler again.

Great fun via Diamond Club Swim Up stay & awesome service!
Resort grounds were very well taken care of and maintained and were very spacious and had an awesome layout. Diamond Club has great amenities and private areas that made it an awesome upgrade to have! We had Diamond Club swim up room 18-101 and those rows of rooms were in the sun and water was always at perfect temperature for a nice swim no matter time of day. Only small negatives were little tiles were missing and all rooms had a slight musty scent. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were spacious and clean and it was a perk to have unlimited snacks and drinks available to use for free in room's mini bar. Shows were great and bars throughout, even swim up bars were a fun plus! Food was so so but highlights were fresh made to order omelets at Ocean Side buffet, Pizza from the pizza window next to Grazie, and Dinner at the Hunter Steakhouse was a must and our favorite! Staff that really went above and beyond were Pedro our butler, Emmanuel & Gabriel at the bar, Fernando the beachside server, Franklin from the Vibe Team, and Ashley our swim up server! Thank you for great service!

Repeat guest
This was my third stay at the Royalton Bavaro and it did not disappoint! This time was with friends as opposed to family, but it was just as enjoyable. Drinks were flowing from Carlos and Ashley, and Pedro nailed it with reservations. The service was poor and slow at Rio and Grazie, but our dinner at Hunter was top notch. Thanks for another great stay!
