Hospitality is nonexistent. Can’t recommend
Hotel is nice and amenities are good. Hospitality and service is nonexistent. I went to the gym at 3 am, no one was there, I’m exercising for 15 minutes then a worker comes in all of a sudden and rudely says that I can’t be here because I’m working out in slippers. What a joke of a place. Brought it up to front desk and they were unacommodating. Paid $2,200 for 4 nights and I can’t justify the highball price for being treating this poorly. I’d rather have stayed at a motel 6 where they leave you alone than have this bad of an experience here

Enjoyment at a high level
The Royal Sonesta is a pleasant stay in PR. Facility is built for rest and relaxation. Nestor Colon is the perfect host. The entire team supports your stay from meals to exercise. Carolina Padin and Rolanivette Ortiz make your stay speciall. Restaurants under the food and beverage manager Chris are superb. Jenny runs the pool service and staff well. I will be back.

Beautiful beach and very nice rooms
Beautiful beach. Lovely hotel, clean rooms and nice amenities. I highly recommend getting an ocean view room. We didn’t eat there so I can’t review that. We were at a work conference- so not really typical food. They did have incredible desserts though.

Island beach restaurant
Been eating here for 16 years with Silvia as our waitress. Great location and food. Our favorite place to eat on the island of Puerto Rico. We come here every January for a month of great weather. Isla Verde is the place to be. Five minutes from the San Juan airport.

A wonderful resort hotel for a short or long stay.
The hotel and the service lived up to all the good reviews on Trip Advisor. Just returned after 5 days and everything was just as they advertised. Beautiful grounds, always well kept. Best staff at the check-in desk. Always helpful and full of smiles. Same with the valet staff. The grounds and indoors were kept clean and the room was comfortable with great bedding. It actually was too cold in the room and a mechanic came immediately and turned off the AC unit at our request. The waiters were wonderful and friendly. Food at breakfast was really varied and top notch. The Italian restaurant on the premises was our favorite of all for dinner. We had most of our lunches at the cafe next to the beach while enjoying the magnificent view. Beach chairs were set up by 7am for those who like to see the early light and quiet beach. There was no extra cost. The landscaping around the pool was beautiful. We felt cared for and safe our entire visit.
