Clean, quiet, and relaxing
We had a room with a jetted tub and a fireplace, facing the river. It was so relaxing. You would not know how close you are to downtown by sitting on the balcony watching the ducks land in the water. It was only a few minute walk down the riverside to get to the Wine Train.

Great Napa Finds
As I searched for a great place to stay, near all the “known” places to see and visit in Napa Downtown, I stumbled on the River Terrace Inn. This place was a great find. The room and grounds were immaculate. Perfect for couples retreats. Walking distances to many attractions or a quick car trips to many vineyards and wineries. The staff was attentive and friendly. Ample self parking. I would recommend this hotel to all who visit Napa and will definitely be looking to stay there again.

Warm & Welcoming! What's Better?
I had a wonderful stay here and truly cannot wait to come back. Here's my spiel: Rooms: - The rooms are so warm and welcoming. I stayed in a Riverview King and it was luxurious! It was the best hotel bed I've slept in, in a long time - and I travel a lot! The bed pillows were either super firm or very soft, which is my only complaint. If you're particular about your pillows, like me, maybe just BYOP (bring your own pillow). - The jacuzzi tub and the bluetooth mirror were a huge plus for me, as they added to the luxuriousness of the room. Fitness/Exercise: - The fitness room was decent, with basic equipment - but let's be real, who's coming to Napa for the hotel gyms? Just an added perk of having one! - If the sky had not been pouring cats and dogs, and cows and sheep, I would've LOVED to run/walk the trail behind the hotel, that runs along the Napa River. What an amazing way to sight see and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Nearby Dining: - The ALBA bar and café is great. I didn't lunch here, but I can speak to the breakfast being delicious (11/10 bacon), with great service from the staff - They are very accommodating to any allergens and preferences. - I highly recommend the long and strenuous 2-minute walk over to Slanted Door for dinner. Amazing servers and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Location: - Again, so close to Slanted Door! - 8ish minute walk to Oxbow Public Market, Modern Bakery (you MUST get the English Muffins), Gott's Roadside and other eateries. - 3-5 minute walk to the Napa Wine Train, which is what brought me to Napa! What an unique and fun experience, to see Napa through a train, whilst eating delicious food and drinking local wine. Overall, absolutely grand. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful location but a little dated and impossible to escape the bad music
The hotel is located right on the Napa river just about a 5-minute walk to Oxbow Market. We had a nice room with a river view. Unfortunately, it was difficult to sit outside on our terrace and enjoy the scenery as the hotel is constantly blasting loud music from its terrace along with from the speakers outside the front of the hotel. Other downsides were that everything the hotel has to offer in the room - water, wine, glasses, etc. - has a pretty hefty price tag on it, which might be understandable in a lower tier hotel, but for the price we were paying a night, it just seems nickel-and-dime kind of stuff. Also, the shower head is old and not all the jets worked and the water pressure was low. In all, not the experience we had hoped for.
